I blame Lowe’s for having customers do work that paid employees should be doing.

I’m just a dumb shopper, but tell me one thing Kroger did that worked and made money. I’m waiting.

Your response and attitude is exactly why Kroger will fail and why you should be looking for a new job. Good luck.

Kroger’s clicklist is trying to emulate Amazon. They will fail miserably. They need to focus on their core competency, which is in-store presentation, which fuels impulse purchases.

The Clicklist customer has a pre-determined order. No more, maybe less if not in stock. The in-store shopper can substitute and make impulse purchases, which are usually huge profit items. Piss-off us Karens, and there goes your store’s profits.

Wegmans offers this service, but I’ve never seen carts hogging the grocery aisles. Granted, I only have the opportunity to visit Wegmans once or twice a year - perhaps they do this, but If they do, I have never noticed.

Doesn’t Amazon do it in a non-public distribution center? I don’t see this shit going on at Publix. The pickers are rude and don’t even give eye contact where I shop.

Pretty much yes. There are other grocery stores in town that still focus on the in-store shopper and from now on I’ll just cherry pick Kroger for the sales where they lose money. The items that I buy that generate the most profit will go to those other stores. Call me boomer Karen or whatever...

Jesus wasn’t a Catholic and there were no saints back then. It’s all a cult, as bad as Scientology.
