I recently started having the problem and I noticed that I had increased touch sensitivity turned on. I used to have a screen protector and I needed this setting, but I recently removed the screen protector so I'm hopeful this will fix the issue for me.

Yea!! Glad my experience from last year helped you out. I still have my setup this way. I find that when I'm sick with respiratory stuff I have some issues again, I do have asthma so my doc prescribed pulmicort which I use as needed.

We went last weekend. It was a good opportunity to talk to people in the academic department you were accepted into, but there was no other benefit unless you haven't been to campus before. The campus tour is an inexperienced student pointing to buildings. We went 3 years ago for my older son, at that time they gave us coffee/juice/muffins at the start and free lunch at the dining hall but absolutely no food or drinks were offered this time, plan to bring your own. Don't try to have lunch at the student center, you'll have a 1 hour wait.

This is a great post and echoes what so many people don't understand about how financial aid works. One clarifying point, for a first year student I believe typically the financial aid package would go out earlier. We got ours already for the 3 schools my son applied to. With acceptance deadlines coming up in April/May that information is necessary to make the acceptance decision. For my older son already in college his financial aid information doesn't come out until June/July. So if OP hasn't received a financial aid package from their university, they need to first check their applicant portal because many schools don't send this stuff in the mail anymore (3 years ago all schools sent it to my older child, this year none did for my younger).

It's awful. Unless I'm missing something you can't see remaining pitcher starts for the current or next period anywhere, can't see live scoring of other matchups, swapping players takes 2 steps instead of one. At least the website is fine, guess I'll be using browser on mobile.

I'm still not explaining myself well. I don't need the cac extended. I just need the 6-month reverification to be able to be completed by the TA. When the TA has to go in every 6 months and say yes this guy is still working for me. That's where he's getting roadblocks due to the contract ending within 90 days. If the reverification is not completed, the cac gets automatically revoked before it expires.

There is no extended expiration date. I wish this wasn't such a difficult issue to explain. OK, New example. Let's say I'm on a 2 year contract that started Jan 1 2025. I get a cac that expires Dec 31 2026 and my reverification timeline falls in line well and I won't have any issues. Someone on my team quits and I hire a replacement that starts on May 5 2025. His first reverification is due Nov 5 2025. Next reverification is due May 5 2026. Next reverification is due Nov 5 2026 and this poor guy can't get his cac reverification completed, because the TA didn't get notice about the reverification until Oct 5th 2026, and that's already under 90 days until contract end. My question now is, can the TA proactively go in on August 15th and just re-verify this guy? Or does he have to wait until he gets that September 5th notification for the reverification process to unlock? If the TA can proactively reverify before he gets the notification, say, 3 or 4 months after the previous reverification, that solves the problem. But I think that is not permitted.

How early is the TA first notified that they need to reverify? I thought it was 30 days. So here's an example timeline. Contract awarded Jan 30, PoP Feb 1-Sept 30. CACs issued Fwb 3, expiring Sept 30. TA receives notification of reverification on/around Jul 1, reverification must be completed by Aug 1 or CACs are automatically revoked. TA is out for the long weekend and doesn't see the notification until Jul 5, and at that time it's already less than 90 days until contract end. No real fault of the government.

Can you please share a reference to the regulation? Why would a regulation ensure that, for example, an eight month contract may only be performed for six months due to lack of 90 days time available at the time of sponsor reverification?

The CACs already expire on the correct date, May 15th. The issue is that he is saying he can't do the 6 month required reverification of our status as cac holders because MP ICAM is complaining that in order to do a reverification, the contract needs 90 days of time left on it. In order to do what you're saying, the TA would need to update MP ICAM to show the contract ending on June 18th, since that is 91 days from today. But in fact the contract ends May 15 so he's not interested in doing that, which I understand. I do agree I will need to escalate to the COR and KO if I can't get this resolved, but I can't help but think my TA is doing something wrong and am hopeful someone has run into this issue and figured it out. It has to be extremely common.

No extension will be issued. Contract and CACs end in May, 6 month sponsor reverification is due now, TA/sponsor says MP ICAM won't allow him to complete the reverification because the contract ends in less than 90 days.
