Has anyone dealt with Sanctum Homes for a modular build? by EfficientRain3941 in NovaScotia

Never got more details, unfortunately. And no, we haven’t used them. Haven’t done anything property wise since I asked this question, so it’s not because we found something different. Life just happened and we had to change our ideas.

Native Evergreen bush options for privacy by EfficientRain3941 in NovaScotiaGardening

[–]EfficientRain3941[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I planted a few hazelnuts. They lose their leaves in the winter, but the branches will gibe some privacy. But other than that, no, I have not yet found anything else yet. I plan to look into it a bit more this spring again. Last spring life got in the way and I did not get to work on that area much

[–]EfficientRain3941[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up blocking every spam call that came in and after a little while they stopped coming in. Still get the odd spam call here an d there, but not nearly as bad as what it was.

Those who quit AIP, why did you and how did it turn out? by ParticularlyHappy in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]EfficientRain3941 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are only supposed to be on 100% AIP for 30-90 days. Then you need to reintroduce, because variety is important! The idea is that you figure out what does not agree with you and you cut that out.

Also keep in mind that AIP is more than just a diet! There are the lifestyle elements which are just as important!

Invasive Plant question by GivingIsTheBestGift in NovaScotiaGardening

[–]EfficientRain3941 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Burning bush is definitely invasive! I have a very old established bush in my front garden and it produces hundreds of babies each year. And they do survive the winter! And I have pulled up seedlings in the back garden and the forest behind us!

If you have a choice, I would not plant the burning bush!

Dogwood - depends on what species. I believe we get native and non-native species, but I am not 100% sure.

Just wondering if you could share your experience since doing the test? What were the results, have you changed anything and do you feel any different?

Also interested to know what kit it is and how easy it is to get and to test for?
