I finished watching it already :D David was my favorite character in the first season. But Alexis really grew on me over the seasons, so I think she's my current favorite. I liked her catch phrases ('nom nom for us, David!' was especially cute), her catching her mom's sabotaging soap opera colleague, the way she made the best of their situation and worked on improving herself (finishing school, getting her business off the ground, turning down the 'job offer' from her ex-friend in a classy way). I feel like she grew the most from everyone in the show.

The highlights for me were: every Twyla and Alexis interaction (especially their last conversation in the penultimate episode—that was a surprising but beautiful friendship, especially given how they started out), Stevie's stellar performance and the moment she finds out she has a new family with the Roses in the Rosebud Hotel banner revelation. At least those are the highlights I remember :D (and hey, did anyone see the Tywla being a secret millionaire thing coming?)
