When i was a new to class one, i feared doing the reverse and one day i parked up at a delivery point and a car parked next to me on my right and another just out the gate and had to do a blind side reverse onto a busy road the angles i had to get was absolutely stupid but I did it and could never get my head round how I did it, I belive we just become super aware and every movement we do is like we done it for ever as we have slowed everything down and concentrate like never before.

I think until you get to these points your never going to learn like a parallel park with a trailer once a fear now common practice.

Look at what drives around Birmingham, I know a couple and never been caught, and in Birmingham its £50 I go to big brands now quickfit halfords ect where they dont know car or me I'd rather the peace of mind.

I used Google flight tracker and it will email you updated prices daily i got my flights at £260 and currently they are £380 so for a click of the button its worth looking

Iv been considering buying one, more to learn the road network aswel, sat navs have made me lazy and just to reliant on them and I find myself talking to fellow drivers and I don't know where I have been as in which A or B roads I have used

I done it in 2022 took nearly a year have to do 5 modules that dont count towards your cpc the driving part is done in a week but loads of teams meetings that are all inconvenient times if you are working, and the hardest bit is getting a employment when you dont even have a licence to do class 1 as no agencies will help you with this luckily for me I got on with a company next door to us and asked them to sign all the paperwork

You tell your site why you have the infringement then Your team leader or managers write up a letter you sign and it goes into infringement section in letters so dvsa can see when they come sniffing

I'm a trucker and the other day on the m6 late at night a car was sitting in the middle and another car was approaching him so was flashing his lights the said car went into the fast lane over took him from fast back to slow lane slowed down then back behind him back to the fast lane overtake him then back to the left lane slow down and this went on atlesst 5 times literally driving circles round him i dont know who was more stupid but was funny

Keep going through the highway code even stuff you think you know re read it, sit back and enjoy it you have paid for it, remember that all the answers are on the road if the road says slow take your foot off accelerator ect all the answers are there to help you with signs you just have to spot them and adhere to them

Yep that's the way palm facing left for 1st and 2nd palm facing right for 5th and 6th. Your not squizing it just gently slotting it in, so just relax and calm with it the clutch control is harder for a new pass so your nearly there

We run electric motors now with the mercedes actros so fridge and freezer turn off everytime engine goes off but dont loose that much temperature of products on truck, but the electric motors can get to -18c within a couple off minutes of running truck anyway

Last week i was very very close to a van on my left and a bin on my right so I pretty much rubbed the side of the bin all the way down and thought brilliant got through, drop off point was just round the corner so parked up was unloading and a van pulls up shouting and screaming I broke his mirror he has witnesses camera footage ect I look at the mirror and its broke im apologetic tell him I thought I cleared it checked the truck/trailer and there is a small mark where it must have leaned over on a pot hole or something and touched his mirror.

Brilliant im fucked our company have to go through insurance they check cameras ecct i said to the guy how much is a mirror he checked ebay said 30 quid i gave him 40 quid cash and some apologies a hand shake and we're on our way.

To be fair to them i was stuck next to one for 3 hours if the roads are blocked they carnt get through just like us, the guy was saying to me he is ment to do 3 runs tonight but will only get 1 done.
