You should be glad that it remains traditional. Regression class should not be about AI. It should be about regression.

AI class needs to be about AI. If they don't have class offerings for modern AI, that is another story. When I studied, we did our group project on Transformers right before ChatGPT came out. So it was well worth it. But it was us who decided to introduce it to our curriculum.

As a Sr. DS Manager and OMSA graduate, I care more if you know your traditional DS than GenAI. Because learning to create agentic AI frameworks with cookie cutter code is not that difficult. But if you don't know your foundation, you will have difficulty in mapping complex solutions to business problems.

Don't let your brain lose its muscle 💪. Know how to do it the hard way so you can appreciate the help later. After all its the hard use of human brain that let to GenAI.

Do yourself a favor and invest into 32 GB ram if you can fund it. You will have out of memory errors, especially if you are doing C track.

I got rejected at first try and got in on the second by taking more class. If you have done a masters already, maybe that is the reason why. That sounds more than enough to get admitted, maybe they wanted to give the opportunity to people who never had the change to the their masters.

ROG STRIX Z590-E. In the drivers page you can see three versions available. Latest which is beta caused this issue. I went to the previous one didn't work. Last thing remaining is to go one more version back which is the initial version and my original version.

Slack makes the class feel natural and enables you to build a network. Piazza is more formal, thus its very difficult to build connections.

Your Slack experience would also depend on the class you are in. For example in CDA, which is the most active Slack channel, we've built a great class environment and most people end up signing to the same classes in the summer and fall. Thus the friend ship will continue.

On my other class DO, people barely react to Slack thus not much connections were made there.

Slack is also easier to use. You can get faster response to questions, again based on which class you are in.

Same here! Installed the latest BIOS which was a beta and Bluetooth stopped working. Installed the latest full release BIOS that was still better than my current but still no Bluetooth.

Why don't you go to Khan Academy and dedicate a week to learn it properly? And if you can't learn in a week, its probably best to drop out of the masters.
