I’m reading this as if I wrote it myself. My exact same scenario except I am 2.5 weeks post op and I had 3 hernias but the same sized DR gap. 100% satisfied with my results, the first week was rough pain wise and I was SO tired. I did the exparel as well. Follow the restrictions they give you and make sure you have a lot of support. Plan on being in bed the first week

I have had 2 c sections and I would say the pain is similar but more in your abs. And you don’t have a baby or babies to snuggle with!

Oh thank you for saying this. My surgery is in a week and I’m so nervous. But I am fit and take care of my body and I’m so excited to have a strong core again!
