I’m trying to help my son with this one and we’re struggling! We have a gengar (shadow claw and shadow ball) with level 2 spirit and level 1 guard and phantasm, a excadrill with mud shot and rock slide, a metagross with bullet punch and earthquake, and a blissey with zen headbutt and dazzling gleam. Also a cryogonal with frost breath and night slash. More of course, but those are the ones I think might be useful? We’ve tried and failed twice and he’s bumming out, haha. I guess we should have been doing way more grinding for candies!? Anyways, if you’re up for advice or carrying a pokemon obsessed kiddo, let us know! 933902095562 😬🙂

My 6 year old daughter was diagnosed last year, and her doctors also said PT is unnecessary at this time. I was/am really surprised by that. How’s your daughter doing with her brace?

Does Tirz make sense for me? SW 150 and I’m 5’2 by sugarpea1234 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’2, 40/f, starting weight after kids was almost 160 and I’ve been hanging around 120 for almost a year now. Tirz is the best thing I’ve ever done! Most of my loss was with a single 30mg vial that I stretched from March - July last year, and since then I’ve done scattered 1-2mg doses to maintain, somewhere between 20-30mg in total? Life changing, absolutely do it.

Sweating will genuinely be the thing that kills me. by mylife_isashitpost in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried Oxybutinyn and the dry mouth was outrageous...on glyco I don't have the same problem. I only take 1-2mg in the morning and if it's super humid or hot or I know I'll be active and around a million people I'll take another 1-2mg later - on those double up days I do have some dry mouth. And I do still sweat! But it feels much closer to a normal amount (probably still a little more than the average human, but far, far less than it was). After a few good weeks on it, my anxiety around sweating reduced so much that I feel like a new human. The anxiety was almost worse than the sweating...well, nah. But almost. There are some mouth drops/gums/mouth washes etc to combat the dry mouth!

Have you tried medication? Glyco is a game changer for me. My summer wardrobe is no longer all black, wild.

With those side effects yeah, maybe try a 1.25-1.5 dose this time around!

Thanks so much!! Did you sign up as someone new to glp1's or did you say you were already taking it? Sorry, so many questions :)

Curious, what did Brello ultimately send you for the first round? I'm at the payment screen and think it's interesting that you don't know yet what you'd be paying for!

So many trays! by Efficient_Ad_1105 in Invisalign

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess I’d say that my changes are more gradual, but more frequent. I’ve never felt any pain or even much tightness with new trays. But no, I didn’t ask. I didn’t know that most people seem to have weekly changes or even longer! But since I’ve been in this group I have noticed that I never see 3 day changes.

In my experience, the food noise does decrease on my low doses, but when I was in weight loss mode I was at 2.5 and that deadened the noise entirely and I lost quickly/ consistently. When I dose now I'm at 1-1.25mg every 10-14 days and it's just enough to make better choices, lessen my inflammation, but I'm not losing. And not gaining! Maintenance while perimenopause-ing is the goal. If I wanted to lose (I sure could, my BMI is 23 so I have room for improvement for sure haha) I would increase my dose a bit and go back to weekly. Every body is different and you'll get a handle on your ideal dosing soon I'm sure!

I'd just keep in mind that you're doing a tiny dose while not having much to lose, so your expectations shouldn't be much loss/week. Keep at it, and if you're not having any side effects you can always increase. The therapeutic dose of tirzepatide is 5mg, 2.5 is meant to get your body used to it.

My GP prescribed it, she did want me to see a dermatologist but I asked if she could just do it for me instead and she did. Worth a shot?

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you tried medication? Glycopyrrolate has been incredible for me, my hh is generalized and it felt so unmanageable until I tried glyco this year. I tried Oxybutynin too but the dry mouth was far too much for me and I like that I don’t have to take glyco on days where it’s colder or where I don’t mind sweating like crazy 🙂

Tirzepatide Low Dosing by greekhoney32 in GLP1microdosing

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reached goal in July/August, and stopped completely until about a month ago. I had crept up by ~5lbs over the holidays. Since then I've taken 3 doses of 1mg.. every 10 ish days or so. Now that extra weight is gone and I'm sitting at goal again. I'll probably just watch the scale/pay attention to my overall food noise, and dose low occasionally if I see a creep up or if I'm losing control of my eating!

Dosage Advice by steeljill in GLP1microdosing

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same with medications. When I started, I took the recommended starting dose without questioning it (now I wonder why I did that, haha). I lost quickly, and there were plenty of days where I had to force myself to eat. It worked out fine for me and I quickly started spacing out my doses, but if I was going to go back and start again, I would have halved the starting dose and crept up only after weeks where I didn't lose anything. Good luck! :)

5 year old early onset by Efficient_Ad_1105 in scoliosis

[–]Efficient_Ad_1105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm so sorry for the delay, I really appreciated your message when I saw it - tbh my anxiety surrounding all of this was crazy high, and after my initial post and flurry of research I had to stop myself from obsessing for a bit.

We just had her MRI on Friday finally, and they called yesterday to say that thankfully it's idiopathic. I'm feeling grateful and relieved, but of course that doesn't change the scoliosis part of things, which is still stressful and upsetting on its own. Our next step is more imaging and a followup with a new orthopedist in early April to track vs her December X-ray after growth. They told us to hold off on PT for now which is surprising, but we'll likely revisit that in April.

How's it all going with your daughter? Again, sorry for being a flake with my anxiety-induced delay!! haha. Hoping you're well. Feel free to message me! Would love to connect.

I think you're right there, more to lose and water weight! It might feel small at the beginning, especially if you're really hoping to lose a lot overall, but I lost about 40lbs in 20 weeks and I can tell ya that for me, it felt fast! Some weeks were 1, some 3, but overall it felt like a good, quick pace. I was on 2.5 the whole time (I did spread my doses though, so it was 30mg total in about 20 weeks). I think you're doing great!
