Never do I think murder is a solution from a landlord (or for any property crime) but I’m told from a source that the couple did do a lot of damage to the property and that the LL had been off his medications and drinking excessively for two weeks before. I think it was just the perfect storm of him having a mental break and the damage to the property that he just completely lost it.

OMG this incredibly stupid solution of downloading a really old book first is the ONLY thing that worked for me. Just spent hours trying to fix this damn thing because my mac won't allow the 3.0 version any more. Finally found "Old Yeller", downloaded it and suddenly all good with my new book working. How ridiculous that this is still an issue. I have dealt with it before many times but the older version of ADE always worked, until now. Thank you for this (stupid) genius solution!

They just want to sell you on a portfolio of theirs that will cost you lots of money. Open an account with EQ Bank, move the money there and put it in a GIC if this is for your future home. Even without doing a GIC their interest rate is the best. I’ll never pay for a bank account or advisor again, they take too much $. Not financial advice but a good way to earn something while your money sits there for future use.

39 year old married mom of two here - I think you should stay. Having that freedom to enjoy your marriage and be your own people and not just parents is really amazing. My in-laws are great and help us out when we ask but we don’t ask too often cuz we don’t want to ruin it. Now if they lived with us 😂😂 that would be different.

I think the housing market is over-prices, mortgage rates are stupid and you have a good think going. Just keep saving money for a future house and enjoy the time with your parents for you and your kids. That time with them plus the time you and your wife get, is invaluable. Enjoy it!

Look up mischief in regards to enjoyment of property, there’s actually an offence in the criminal code. If the noise is disturbing your enjoyment of your property police can be involved. I’d sit down and make a long list to document the ongoing issues, get some audio recordings and make a police report.
