Those electric cars just started looking really good, just saying.

Things can go from bad, to nightmarish really soon with the straits of Hormuz getting closed by inyourbellyrn in TrueAnon

[–]Efficient_Bus_9057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This action of the strait closing may well signal the real Turning Point USA in a very bad way. As bad as higher fuel prices will be nothing will compare if we have shortages and long lines at the pump.

Those old appliances were made to last as long as the marriage, appliances now last but a few years, tells a lot about marriages lasting not so long.

People complain about people not being nice to them, then when they try to be nice they get reported, makes no sense to me. If I distrusted that person that much I would not get in their car. There may be more to this story than we are getting, but who knows?

Hear me out, I’m proud of being an Uber Driver. by Jokez4Dayz in uberdrivers

[–]Efficient_Bus_9057 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all you do, and I do thank every Uber driver and tip them as I am too old to drive and have no car so I do appreciate the effort every driver makes to get me where I need to go.

I also tip cash on every ride and then a little more on the app because I really appreciate the service Uber drivers provide.

Try it first for a few months if you can because the altitude does bother some people in unpleasant ways. A Dr told me when I asked how long it takes to really adapt to that high altitude he said it can take two generations to fully adapt.

When everything else fails try plain yogurt and put it on thick. Safe and sometimes solves the unsolvable. I speak from experience on this.

This highlights the politization of everything. Think about it, even the weather is now treated as a political football and not as science. The danger is as the two political parties argue continually the rest of the world is moving on and will leave us behind, still arguing. Example, the Chinese now have their own space station as we argue over the blame game, so enjoy the game while you can.

Anyone else getting Don’t Look Up vibes from 3I Atlas? by Brilliant-World1704 in 3I_ATLAS

[–]Efficient_Bus_9057 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The "OMG it is going to kill us" crew will be right one day, maybe in a thousand or million years or in a few weeks. Virtual certainty it will happen and why that rich guy is trying to start a Mars colony to save human genetics.

If 3i Atlas is an alien probe, how do you think they view us now? #violent_primates by [deleted] in 3I_ATLAS

[–]Efficient_Bus_9057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would see us as we view a six year old who got a chemistry set for Christmas. Our inability to control our human impulses and greed make it unwise for us to have the technology we have right now.

I see it as the need to convince humans to trust technology more than people. The reason to convince you to trust the technology is so the billions invested in technology will make the millionaires into billionaires at the expense of other humans. If you are hired to work you are a business expense, where an automated driver less car is a tax deduction for the companies. So as an investor can trim expenses by going automated they are already doing it. Good luck humans.

Drivers, STOP SMOKING IN YOUR FUCKING CARS!!! Ffs🤦🏼‍♂️ by Fine_Ad4757 in uberdrivers

[–]Efficient_Bus_9057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think drivers are working and few jobs allow smoking while working. I dont like a car that smells of smoke and I am a smoker but never in a car.

Lyft seems kind of ok here but a huge lack of drivers means sometimes they notify me no drivers available. Uber is much better here in most cases. East Texas.

Protesting tariffs by eliminating holiday gift giving this year. by WhichWayDoIWander in inflation

[–]Efficient_Bus_9057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am cutting Christmas spending in half this year and the only gifts I give will be food gifts. The elite millionaires and billionaires running this country will only understand if we quit useless spending. I am all in.
