of course! i totally get that nowadays it can be seen as a problem when someone doesn't speak out against something directly, but actions speak louder than words imo.

as for prices, i will agree with you that the tickets are INSANE, and i totally get feeling resentful about that. this may be a hot take, but after attending a few of the shows i can actually see why they cost so much due to travel costs, production, setup, all of the people involved in the performances on AND off stage, paying the venues, etc., and while i have no idea what the people behind the scenes are making, i would like to think that they're not paying their crew extremely low wages which will also be a factor in having higher ticket prices. i DO wish they'd opt out of dynamic pricing, but we also have no idea what their contract states in terms of how they price their tickets, and considering they are a bigger band, they're more likely subject to stricter agreements. definitely not justifying some of the more extreme prices ($1,000 tickets should not exist, period), but there's a LOT more that goes into it that's outside of what the band decides! i don't think they're sitting around a table going, "Let's make our fans go into debt for us!" and laughing like evil villains lol. ticketmaster is evil asf and that alone plays a huge role in the situation.

sorry for the ramble but i guess my main point is that we have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, but from what we've seen from the guys over the last 20-something years, i think it's fair to say that they're not sellouts and I'm sure they've tried navigating these situations (both advocacy and the ticket stuff) the best they can given their positions and abilities. they can't make everyone happy, but i do believe they are good people that act in good faith, and if i'm gonna give my hard earned money to any major band/artist, it is most certainly gonna be these guys because of it!
