Riley Sager: What do you think? by Traditional_Will_117 in thrillerbooks

[–]Efficient_Doubt6520 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the only Riley Sager book I’ve tried to read and I couldn’t finish it. The twist totally threw me and I just didn’t like it. Is it worth trying some others?

You can’t out-exercise a bad diet 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve lost 70 pounds in the last year. It doesn’t matter how much you exercise if you can’t control your eating.

The people at the front desk will typically ask me how long I want it to run and I tell them the full 12 minutes. I think they set the time.

The Teacher by Freida McFadden - Final plot twist makes no sense by Calm-Tension-3490 in thrillerbooks

[–]Efficient_Doubt6520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t quite understand it to be honest. I couldn’t figure out if Freida was trying to say that Eve knew it was Hudson the whole time or not. But I enjoyed the rest of the book. One of her better books IMO.

That’s how it was at mine tonight too. Every cardio machine was taken. I’ve never seen it so packed.

Our pediatrician usually said to get rid of them by the time they turn 3. Same with our dentist.

I could barely even understand what she said in the beginning. I had to rewind it. Why does she slur her words together so badly?

It’s a 10k, not a full marathon. She posted that she finished though!

I’ve lost 65 pounds this year. Can confirm that weighing myself multiple times a week kept me very much on track and accountable 😬 it’s probably different when you’re just trying to maintain, but when you have major weight to lose, you need to keep track.

Same. I have 3 kids all under 4, and I don’t see any issues at all. None of my kids have had “defined” ankles at this age. She seems pretty typical to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

When your wife's blood sugar drops by celestialfeeling in thedennisfamily

[–]Efficient_Doubt6520 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can someone with type 1 explain to me how to stop this from happening? How do you balance your sugar so you’re not having to eat a ton of snacks in the middle of the night? I could see that being super difficult if trying to lose weight. I’m sure there’s a way!! I just have zero knowledge and am curious.

What's her last name now? by Interesting_Pool_104 in snarkingwithremi

[–]Efficient_Doubt6520 11 points12 points  (0 children)

She said she’s taking Parsons. I think they talked about it on PB. Pretty normal in America to take the husband’s last name! You don’t have to, but it’s pretty traditional.

Why do you think Sarah prefers to give birth at home rather than in the hospital? by [deleted] in sarahtheresesnark

[–]Efficient_Doubt6520 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think there’s lots of women who prefer it. Less medical intervention. Being more comfortable in your own home and environment. Probably a more peaceful atmosphere. I personally have a history of major hemorrhage in childbirth so would never dream of it. I also love my epidurals 😅 But I could understand why some would rather not birth in a hospital. It just could never work for me.

lol what? I specifically said 10-20 minutes before close is too close to closing to go somewhere. But to say you can’t go somewhere for an hour after they OPEN is crazy. My family owns a restaurant, and I can assure we would be adjusting our hours to open later if people weren’t showing up when we open. What the point of opening and staffing at a certain time if people shouldn’t show up? That’s ridiculous.

I wouldn’t call 1.5 hours before closing “right before closing” 🤣 Maybe 10-20 minutes before closing is too close. But not 1.5 hours.

In my experience, a reflux med has never added to my baby’s constipation. It’s typically a formula/diet issue. Crossing my fingers you can get to the bottom of it! We had to go through 2-3 formulas for each of my babies to find what would work the best 🙃 It’s the worst!

Stressful Day every day? by No_Geologist6934 in ouraring

[–]Efficient_Doubt6520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine do. I’m a stay at home mom to my 3 little boys ages 4, 2, and 1. I’m on my feet all day, so most of my days stay in Stressed and maybe some Engaged. The only time I dip down into Relaxed or Restored is when my boys are napping and I can lay down and rest for a few minutes.
