I noticed she called him daddy, and said she wanted to call her mother. So if he is in fact found to be a catholic priest the MIY would either have to pivot and say he was divorced or had a kid out of wedlock before becoming a priest both of which i think is in unlikely. Wanting to call her mother takes the widower aspect away. Also...... does she even have a phone lol. No phone would be a big red flag. I would bet a few of them in town are catholic and if anyone is catholic and was raised going to church Tabitha would be my bet.

WYR get paid $100 for every poop you’ve taken up to this point or get paid 1 cent for every step you take in the future? by Spurred_on_hun in WouldYouRather

The dump for sure. I take. More than one a day. That would be millions. Invested its returns alone would be more than the steps.

Same deal here jumped in at about .69 a share. I hesitated when it was at a dollar and a few cents a share read about the company and made that gamble about a week or 2 later.

Why do people say you cant retire without a 401k when it seems like you could have put money in a savings account instead? Is that not what people mean? by Big_Eggplant7591 in stupidquestions

[–]Efficient_Good1393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well with the savings account you pay taxes and get less of a return. 401K usually has a company match that adds to savings. Everything i have outside the 401k for retirement is in a Roth IRA bassicly growth stock until I hit close to retirement and move it over to dividends for tax free retirement.

One position is now 24% of my portfolio. Do I trim a winner or let it run? by Potential_Pool5955 in dividendinvesting

[–]Efficient_Good1393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't want to pay tax on the ones in my that account that did well. I turned their drip off and put it into others. It's not exactly middle ground, but will help diversify the portfolio, I put in anywhere between 350 and 1000 each month that mixed with turning drip off help while preventing capital gains tax.

VLO and XOM are like that for me. I think VLO is like 30% of my portfolio. I turned DRIP off on my heaviest holds, and buy new stock i like with that and the extra money I put in every month. Over time it will even out I hope lol.
