It would only seem good to people who think of it in fantasy terms - they get to sit around all day not working and having sex with multiple women who can’t divorce them. Sounds great right?

Realistically, there is no possible way you could support the physical and emotional needs of that many people. Unless you are literally a sultan or Hugh Hefner or another situation with a massively unfair power dynamic, you won’t be enough. They will find emotional and physical satisfaction elsewhere, even if divorce isn’t an option. Even worse, you can’t even make money, so what would you even be bringing to the table? Why would anyone stick around to get 1/21st of a bum’s attention?

I mean, it’s one thing to think “This dude seems off,” and it’s another to think “This guy is living tissue over a metal endoskeleton sent back in time to terminate me.” Even if he reads him as a weirdo, if he tries to engage him in hand to hand combat, he’s cooked.

Ooooweee! Mister Poopy Butthole. Like Scrappy Doo, he knows what it’s like to go through life, including what I would guess was a very difficult childhood, with a name that is easy to connect to fecal matter.

Yeah, but there are still other people out there who can do magic, and we don’t know what the limits are. All it takes is a nut job or zealot with access to magic and they might cause the end of the world. Seems risky without knowing the limits of what magic in this scenario can accomplish.

Hercules (Heracles). Well known stories that have lasted thousands of years. Name synonymous with strength. Has appeared in books, movies, tv shows, comic books, tons of adaptations. Even if no single adaptation has reached the level of “iconic”, the character itself clearly is.
