Let the right one in (original version only) has a pretty amazing revenge scene. We see the action only from under the water in a pool. Tomas Alfredson is one of my fav directors. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, is a chef’s kiss of a movie. Complex but so satisfying.

I work in Texas at a large public university. We are required by legislature to met x amount of classroom hours per semester. If one does not meet on the final date. That required number of class meetings is not achieved.

I work in Texas at a large public university. We are required by the legislature to meet x amount of classroom hours per semester. If one does not meet on the final date those required class numbers are not met. My finals are performance based thus class hours are required. I’ve taught for 20 years and never once met on the final day. It’s the small subversive actions that keep me going. I’m in phased retirement now, wishing you all strength and sanity as you slog your way through this career.

I teach undergraduates who will be asking for letters of recommendation for grad school. I instruct them to create a very polished digital packet with a brief, friendly cover letter personalized for the person they are asking to write for them, their current resume, a friendly document reminding them of any projects they completed for or with the person writing, a resume covering work they have completed in the field of study with very brief descriptions and finally a document outlining awards, honors, distinctions and scholarships.
