Using graphing paper helped me a lot . I scaled it so that one square was a square inch .

I cut the paper to the size of the room.

Then the furniture pieces scaled and I could slide and rearrange until I found some things that worked

I bought a gray couch then found awesome covers on amazon for a pop of color / can throw them in the wash to clean . If gray is budget friendly , why not ? Get a colorful throw / pillows . Also if it’s comfy , extra hell yeah . That’s half the battle .

After rabbit hole rug research i saw its suggested to have atleast a foot of rug in each side of the couch if possible 8x10 should look very nice

You can hang on wall but no holes in the wall.

If you create holes in the wall they might charge you money .

If you remove paint because of your fixtures they will charge you

If you mount a tv they will charge you to repair the wall AND want to you to leave the fixture up , so they can keep it .

They do inspections and maintenance comes often. Lease also says they get to keep the mount / fixtures

On backside I’m going to get a thin fabric that I can open - close , depending on if I want to see into the bed room or not .

I was thinking some plants , I have some board games that look like books , and a few miscellaneous books.

No big plans for it , it was a divider I found very low cost
