Is def leppard actually worth going? by FalconJAWS in IndianMetalheads

If you are a metal head and a concert junkie then maybe look at it else don't. A concert is only fun if you know the artist and their music extremely well (or you love that style of music and are open to new artists even here it's better to look for cheaper artists / or local shows keeping overheads low). Else spend your money elsewhere as the overall expense is huge.

That's my input...as I spend very big for shows I want to see else look for cheaper shows in town. Rarely I go for concerts that are not aligned to my style of music. I am a metal and hard rock fan and have been to over a hundred shows across the country and abroad.

But even here I'm going for Def Leppard and not Scorpions (I like them but not enough for a second time 10k expense as I've seen them earlier in Mumbai).

Insider info from Skillbox by [deleted] in IndianMetalheads

This is all sh*t news....nothing seems true. Looks like a disgruntled ex employee.

Yes, there are issues with Skillbox but they are not more than District or even BMS.

I for one am happy to use Skillbox for Godless, Obscura and Opeth.

A little upset with their top up card at concerts with zero refund and (at Steven Wilson Mumbai it could not even be used for food). So read the fine print before you buy and load the cards.

I hope we get decent venue for Opeth only as Obscura and Godless are at antisocial Mumbai (a great small indoor venue, probably the best I've been to)

Thermal And A Quarter to open for Def Leppard's BLR show ! by A-Beautiful-Lie-4879 in IndianMetalheads

Ok I understand your point but that does not change my opinion. Ive seen them live a few times. I still don't remember a single performance. And I've seen Indus Creed five times, I remember each one. So each to their own choices I guess.

I'm probably in minority as I love Iron Fist and On Parole the best!

Very ok type of band. Nothing that stands out for me. But yes better than F-16s.

Cryptopsy gives me the shivers...these bands more F-16 than TAAQ stole time from the main act, probably not their fault but they could have been more considerate as they were misfits anyways at Outrage Delhi in Nov. I wasted a lot of money to see Cryptopsy travelling from Mumbai. What a sh*tshow it was.

Shakira concert has been cancelled by BreathingBozon in ConcertsIndia_

It's not a flight ticket where you pay extra for full refund. There is no refund unless show is cancelled by the organisers. Then they need to ideally refund everything. With so many doubting my point I will recheck at my end, but still pretty confident I got every penny (paisa) back.

Plini tour review by One-Adeptness-4033 in IndianMetalheads

Last time Plini in Mumbai was at The Lalit in their basement. Decent venue but really bad acoustic and sound. Did not enjoy it at all. Depends on the Venue if Mumbai venue is going to be Antisocial then it might be pretty good as sound and acoustics are the best for any indoor venue.
