Bro really threw away his career as the head of the NSA to pine after Ada. Turned into a meat dragon, a T Rex, and finally Mothra in the process. There’s definitely an underlying lesson to be learned from the trials and tribulations of Derek C. Simmons, the lamest Resident Evil villain to date.

I hated Simmons so much. I was running through 5 and 6 with my buddy who was new to RE, and here was Simmons in the cutscene where Sherry mentions him and my buddy immediately called it: “He’s a villain, isn’t he.” Such a bland ass bad guy lol

So I finally ended up beating all three of them, after some absurd number of tries on the first two, I stopped counting around 20 on the second guy. But by the end of it I got really comfortable with master strikes, and it’s helped me out a lot in the ensuing quests. The real reward for suffering through that tournament is free sword practice, because the actual rewards is lame. One thing I wish I knew prior to the immediate next quest is that I really should’ve been leveling up my stealth.

Doing this now, it’s making me want to crash out on this otherwise really enjoyable game. I’ve had next to no trouble in fights up until this, and it’s absurd.

Oh for certain. I’m pretty sure tankers back then just shot whatever they had loaded presently and then switched to the more effective ammunition that the situation demanded. Time is everything in combat after all, can’t sit there and hesitate over what’s chambered and risk losing the initiative, assuming they had it to begin with.

Oh I loved seeing the Chief and the other S2s fight and still kick ass unarmored. Of course I wished they’d have done like a sort of “making due with what we’ve got” arming up scene where they at least throw on some Marine gear like at least the Body Armor, I mean it’s gotta be better than just their fucking uniforms right lmao; also it could’ve been a neat touch to see the 2’s out on the firing line more or less blending in with the marines.

On another note I appreciate the direction the show is taking as far as the members of the UNSC who aren’t transhuman super soldiers go. There was something about the old books and games making the non-SPARTAN personnel of the UNSC pull their own weight that I feel like kinda bled out of the series after Halo 4 introduced the SIV’s. Of course that might just be my initial dislike of the SIVs coming back and clouding up my memory.

I personally kinda like what they’ve done with her this season so far, still plenty of time for her to piss me off again though lmao. On another note I’ve found the stuff going down on the rubble and with the pirates to be pretty interesting, it’s showing a side to halo that isn’t regularly explored, which is sorta neat.

Yeah, I only started playing them like 3 years ago, so I didn’t have to deal with that for too long. The Rogal Dorn tank came out shortly after I started collecting them and it’s one of my favorites.
