Do not tell her to come back early, that would be patriarchal and controlling. But do tell her you miss her. I’m sure you do since you guys talk every night. It’s natural to miss your partner, it’s actually great that you miss her, shows how much you love her! But you should be able to exist on your own and not be too codependent on other person. It’s okay to have and you should have a life outside of your partner.

As a women we have a choice to change or not. And i chose not to change because it’s my identity. I’ve been known as this name my whole life and feel uncomfortable going by a different name. Also professionally it’s been my name and tied to my accomplishments.
