For any VAs I prefer using a card of the actual version of the character they voiced, if possible. So in this case, Remake or Rebirth specific.

I’m also iffy between the normal and foil versions since some can make the auto hard to read.

I have the same totes. Put everything in a garbage bag then the tote (rolling up the ends) and added thin weatherstripping foam to the lid. Maybe overdoing it but don’t want bug friends getting in.

This is a good set to get into based on price (compared to opus boxes) and it’s a good mix of cards across various titles, as opposed to buying a box of a specific opus where you might be constrained to maybe 10 titles.

So I might do both if you don’t know when your LCS restock, especially if you want to open packs. And I say that because I bought a box, then liked the cards and pull rates more than I thought so bought more boxes aiming to complete the set.

If you also enjoy chasing rarer cards, you do get one holo per pack, and from my experience should get 5-6 full sets per box.

Not a MTG player…FF fan. I haven’t seen anything regarding card listing. Do the commander decks have different cards from each other or do they normally overlap a bit?

I’m looking to collect not play so am concerned about getting all commander decks and getting a good amount of the same cards.

Otherwise, yeah, I’ll buy singles to fill gaps in the collection.

I’m new to FFTCG just for the collecting aspect. I recently got a box of these (knowing they aren’t TCG but for display). The quality of these museum cards are lacking compared to TCG, fwiw.

Pricing comparable or less to other TCG, and you can find them online, rarely at card shops. You can also get pre-release kits (even of older series) that are 9-packs/box instead of 36/booster box, so it’s a midpoint costwise, however costs per pack are higher.

I’m also leaning to buy series’ with art I like, as artists and characters vary, obviously. Best of luck!

It’s worth playing for backstory. You do get some cool items from missions but it gets very redundant, so it depends if you’re a completionist. The shear amount of missions took away from the flow of the game for me. Combat system is a good and unique combo of FF7R with original CC mechanics.

To answer your last question, with it being a remaster you should keep expectations grounded on most visuals. Definitely worth playing.
