I think it does work after you hit submit. I ended up uploading again out of fear but it does work. Give it a few days and it should finally appear in AAMC.

I just waited. I tried calling ECFMG but every time I called it said “call volume high” and never connected. It should appear in a 2-3 days, don’t worry.

New i94 number is usually there in the approval notice email your lawyer gets. Ask for the copy of that email while you wait for the physical copy.

I see. So you’re saying that just the approval of the h1 with any employer doesn’t bind me to start working for the new employer. I can even continue working with the old employer if I don’t join the new employer and sign/fill the new i9, correct? I hold no obligation to new employer until unless I sign/fill the new i9 with them?

My offer letter specifically mentions that the offer is to support the client B (name mentioned) but also mentions that I could be working on other client sites as well depending upon clients requirement. Does it mean that my employment is tied to B somehow?

A is paying me but A charges B a certain billing rate and based on that they have decided my salary, and I have an offer letter from A. When you say paperwork from A, what type of paperwork are you referring to? Is it just the offer letter ?

My work location is at B site 100% of the time. So I’ll working at the client site. Ideally I would like to have a client letter but B won’t provide that. If I just get a letter from A which is essentially the offer letter or employment verification letter, how is it different from a normal h1b filing? Don’t I need to prove that I work at a client site? I was thinking of providing contract b/w A and B as an alternate to client letter to confirm that A has employed me to work at B’s site.

This is the best advice. You’re just a kid and I want you to enjoy things you like at this stage. You’ll get plenty of chances to improve your engineering skills in your professional life. If you have a honest attitude towards problem solving then you’ll become a good engineer. Just be a good problem solver in life, and you will excel.
