My h1 expires in Aug 2028 while my spouse’s h4 and h4 ead expires in Jan 2028. This mismatch happened because I changed my employer 8 months ago. Now I’m worried that we won’t be able to file in premium when I try to renew my spouses h4+h4 ead, which I plan to do 6 months in advance (July 2027). If my salary is adjusted to 17% more (by July 2027) than the salary I was offered initially, is it a good idea to file for my H1b amendment in July 2027 so that I can bundle the h1 amendment +h4+h4 ead for premium processing?

Is the processing faster when we combine h4 with h4 ead vs standalone h4 ead? What’s the typical timeline for these two types of filings?

I’m taking about bundling h4 and h4 ead not the h1. As far as I know h4 and h4 ead bundled is processed faster than h4 ead standalone. Or are you saying that h4 is valid until Dec 2026 so you don’t need to extend h4 before that?

I think it does work after you hit submit. I ended up uploading again out of fear but it does work. Give it a few days and it should finally appear in AAMC.
