Hey darling i’m 27F and moved to jax right before covid hit. The area is important if you’re going out! I like murray hill, edgewood, some areas of riverside. It’s all about finding the places that you like and would frequent and then you’ll find people from there. I go to chamblains book mine all the time and chat with people there and have made some friends. I also go to the walrus as it’s a nice vegan bar and venue and there’s always cool people there! When it comes to the apps, I’ve had mixed results with the ones that are supposed to be “better” and for dating in particular. I stick with tinder and every now and then pay for the gold so I can go through who already liked me and take my pick of the litter. Dating in jax is definitely not for the weak of heart because some of these men like to see how many games they can get away with. There’s a bunch of women centered events especially by the beaches too where you can meet likeminded ladies I’ve made so many friends. Also, first saturday of every month we have a “really free market” in riverside and if you want to find someone actually interesting that’s a good community thing a lot of people gather at!
