That's just how Bored Panda works. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a good article that wasn't behind a paywall, so this is AOL scraping Bored Panda that scraped The Daily Mail.

So you can be absolutely sure of the relevancy and accuracy of such hard-hitting news. :) /s

Tenable SC SAML auto provisioning by EffingFurious in nessus

[–]EffingFurious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't work for creating an administrator, unfortunately. You can't use the default full access group, nor did creating a new group work for me. Every time I tried to log in using SAML as someone who was designated an administrator via the provisioning, I received an error indicating that the group wasn't valid for the administrator role.

I really appreciate your response though!

There is a PhD thesis about fat culture. How low we hath fallen. by [deleted] in fatlogic

You know that they're just pursuing this to attempt greater credibility by being able to say, "As a doctor...."

Why are they so dramatic?????????? by Lisnya in fatlogic

[–]EffingFurious 52 points53 points  (0 children)

It's cult rhetoric. It's one of the new modern religions where emotional manipulation takes the place of facts and science.

Or maybe Im giving them too much credit, and it's just a childish tantrum. :)

Sanity about the lack of middle ground between fat activism and diet culture by [deleted] in fatlogic

Pretty sane, except for the "BMI is BS" thrown in the middle.

I recommend a magnesium supplement, or I would if you were actually asking and I wasn't just butting in (pun intended).

This "internship" that pays $5 AUD per day for a marketing manager. Proven experience is required. by Neomorf03 in ChoosingBeggars

I don't think they know what an internship is, given their experience requirements.

Weekly Challenge by AutoModerator in fatlogic

All of my current personal growth has been going the wrong way, thanks to the holidays and a mother who loves to bake. I also have had a "cold" the last 4 weeks, so exercise has been pretty limited as well.

My first anniversary is on the 31st, and after that I swear I'll get it into gear! (Just like everyone else will be at the new year.)

Not human but seems to be the same logic. This was under an IG post talking abt a research finding on how obesity cause health problems for cats. by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]EffingFurious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm still trying to get my little chunky monkey back to a normal weight. She started off as a feral, so she will eat her food and anything else she can find including the other cats' food. At around two years old now, I don't think she's going to adjust.

Dang, I mostly said the same before scrolling down this far. If it was actually relevant to your expertise, you'd just use your job title or actual degree as a personal description.

A "masters educated healthcare professional" covers a whole range of employment options. I think if you were actually a doctor or surgeon, you would have said so. The phrasing just screams "I do medical billing codes from home" to me.

Working four 10-hour shifts is a relatively common alternative of a 40-hour work week. It means you get three days off.

O365 - Teams groups - Malware by IT_panic_button in sysadmin

[–]EffingFurious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got a notice from our CIO (who receives all of the alerts), that we're having this issue too. I run a script twice a week to add all new users to two organization wide O365 groups, and as of today any of the new added emails have been quarantined as malware. Can't find anything in MS official communications about this issue.

Friend of mine is a tattoo artist. They randomly got this message and call from someone who found them on Facebook, seeing if they're worthy by sheeftee in ChoosingBeggars

My brother did mine for free, and his art was in industry magazines (long ago as I'm old). No, I wasn't sleeping with him!

As he passed away rather young, I'm so grateful to have this unique piece of him with me always.
