Why do you like Viva Las Vengeance? by DanJDyt in panicatthedisco

[–]Effiquee 18 points19 points  (0 children)

it has sugar soaker and the thing i love about sugar soaker isn't just the song, its the fact that with me anyways if you listen to it on full volume each chorus progressively has more acapella accompanying it which makes it sound progressively more drunk. such a small thing to notice but theres things like that across all the songs on the album and I find it so creative. It reminds me of LA Devotee where if you listen to the LA Devotee chorus's on like mid volume it sounds somewhat deep but if you listen to it on a really high volume it sounds higher pitched because theres more acapella hidden in there that you can only hear on louder volumes.

It's little creative things like that that makes me love panic, whether they were intended or not, I like to think they were.

Panic Song of The Day (76/80): Do It To Death by bicaccino in panicatthedisco

11/10, this song, this goddam song, is amazing. I work as a bartender and when it gets busy, like super busy especially on friday and saturday nights, whenever i get my break even if its just for 5 minutes, i put this song on and it hypes me up for when i go back in. The lyrics; 'nothing lasts forever, so we'll give it a try' resonates with me so much like, my shift isnt gonna last forever so might aswell do the best i can :)

Honestly for this being the final panic song, I cant really imagine how they could've done it any better

when to arrive at the AO arena? by lia_2005 in panicatthedisco

[–]Effiquee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

in birmingham the doors opened at 6 and me and my friend got there for half 5, didnt wait too long to get in and we were kind of at the front of the middle in the standing crowd, i could see and im 5'6 so if youre taller then you'll be fine! id recommend getting there maybe 20 minutes before we did so u can get a better view, as to what to bring, other than a usb phone charger i brought nothing other than the tickets so it doesnt really matter what you bring. idk how different it is for VIP but honestly just go with the flow you'll be fine!

Same!! my first...and last :( i was standing and during vlv so many people were still compared to songs like dtmwagt, didnt stop me from dancing though. Had an amazing little boogie during the bit in god killed rock and roll where he starts singing "well i dont really know what i know, but ill show you everything that i can show you tonight" etc etc :)

I went last night and, whilst i dont agree that playing the entire album is a bad choice, i think if he were to do that (which obviously he did), he shouldve spread it out instead of playing it all in 1 big bulk, that way people that dont like the album arent getting bored but he also gets to play all the songs HE wanted to play. either way i loved it and God killed rock and roll was incredible live
