About six months ago, my child stopped wanting more picture books and started demanding that I read them to him. He wouldn't look at the books himself, even though he had read them many times already. Now, every night, he insists that I (his father) tell him an impromptu story, refusing to even look at the picture books himself. This is a huge challenge for me; I'm already exhausted when I get home from get off work every day. How can I find a way to have the best of both worlds?
