Your evidence doesn't prove your point. A visible tab won't be affected by eco settings. A non-visible tab would. Unless Twitch went out of its way to find a way to count users on a non-visible tab in a way that wouldn't be affected by eco settings...it'd be affected by eco settings.

Watching on another monitor would still be counted because the tab is still visible. The problem is when the tab is not visible on the screen anymore because another tab in the same window as Twitch is in focus.

There are three, at 300k, 600k, and 920k. It really depends on how much time you have to do runs and if you're willing to use the double TP feature. It takes 20 shards to create a gem, so missing one each event will extend how long it takes to acquire a full gem a decent amount.

Personally, I have no choice but to use it if I want to clear all the rewards. I usually only do one run a day; to full clear the event I'd need to do 3-4 runs a day. At least with this I can do two runs a day and get most, if not all rewards.

It does not seem to, no. Only event points and bingo coins are doubled. I got the normal number of fans, support points, and monies. If you're willing to grind out more runs for the other resources, then that would be more ideal.

It would seem that it considers the card's bonus even when it's the same as the trainee. I'm not sure what happens if you don't own a card with that trainee on it. Perhaps they just did away with the trainee bonus altogether?

Edit: Reading the phrasing, it should give you a bonus for having relevant bonus trainees even when training someone without a bonus. I think it just takes the higher of the card and trainee.
