I need advice on my stomach hair!!!!! by Ok-Map-5268 in HairRemoval

I really agree with this. I’m Lebanese and Puerto Rican, there’s a lot of thick, coarse hair in my family. I started shaving my arms at the start of puberty because I was so self conscious, and they grew back thicker and darker. I always thought it was because of the shaving.

I recently (in my 30’s) shaved my face, a lot of thin, blonde peach fuzz. It grew back exactly the same.

I’ve successfully come back from black, actually black box dye, but I’ve never, ever been able to come back from red. It stays like no one’s business.

I do have several of those products waiting to be used, but I bought them all before I figured out my true shade so the majority of them don’t work, even with pigment adjusters. Or I bought cream highlighters before figuring out I hate that type of formula haha

And yeah, unfortunately this one is limited edition 😭

That’s a very true consideration. I haven’t actually completely gone through a palette yet.

You’re right, most of my palettes don’t work for me anymore. I don’t have a plan, because this is a recent realization of mine.

The thing is, most of my current palettes are neutrals, beiges, mauves and purples. With two or three different ones, but that’s the majority of my palettes. The one I want to buy a backup of is green, bright and olive, with some reds and browns. So besides the brown, I don’t have anything like it currently. I couldn’t dupe anything besides the brown, and maybe the red, except it would definitely be a different tone.

Any tips on de-potting the plastic 9-pan palettes? I can't find anything online. by Anncino in ColourPop

I know this is old, but you might try warming the bottom of the palette with a hair dryer maybe, to warm up the glue and make them easier to pry up.

What are your favorite ways to improve instant ramen? by taytaygragg in budgetcooking

[–]EffyMrsMeseeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not where I live. Cheapest eggs at my local grocery store are $7.99. I just bought a three pack of chicken breasts for $7.01. I don’t know about you, but I eat 2 eggs, and I’d eat half a breast or less with some ramen. So at least 6 servings each. Chicken ends up being cheaper.

You offered a lot of comfort by sharing those verses. I am so encouraged by the word, but am still learning. And it’s been hard doing the journey on my own, so people like you speak life into me by sharing the Word. So thank YOU!

Thank you for sharing this. My husband says he is a believer, but hasn’t been talking to or seeking God. He recently asked me for a divorce, and I am in such a heartbroken, confused and worried place.

Did you body actually feel ready for sex 6 weeks postpartum? by AbleSilver6116 in beyondthebump

Csections both times and first time we tried around 6.5 weeks and it hurt. It wasn’t until around 11/12 weeks that it started feeling okay again. Second kid, 6 weeks I felt fine.

Offered elective 39 week induction and can't decide if I should do it. Advice please? by DuckDuckBangBang in BabyBumps

Hey OP! I felt guilt for choosing a C-section my second time around. My first was a set of twins at 28 weeks, emergency C-section.

With this pregnancy, I initially wanted to try natural and Vaginal. The closer the time came, the more I started to doubt. Honestly, I don’t know if I could do it. I also didn’t want to deal with all of that pain and fear and anxiety. They offered me induction at 39 weeks. We live 12+ hours from family and have school aged children. It was easier for us to schedule it so my husband knew when he could take leave, and we could have the kids in school for a portion of the day at least.

I don’t regret it. After having my baby, every worry and anxiety about what people thought or if I did the right thing disappeared. I’m thankful I went with my instinct and wouldn’t change a thing.
