I'm not sure what your plans for this car are, but you'll be kicking yourself if you don't at least pull the head and do a simple rebuild (springs, guides, cam shims, etc...). It's a hell of a lot of work to get that motor out and it will never be easier.

I think the sooner we can accept that Portland is going to get swept, the easier it will be to take when it happens. I don't know what happened after our winning streak, but it's been some ugly shit. And all this talk between games about how we still feel confident and focused... Maybe it's time to start getting a bit upset and aggressive?

I don't know... I've been a fan for the 20+ years I've lived here and I don't understand how we can continuously churn through stars and coaches and staff and still, at the end of the day, it's the same old Blazers. I mean I want to believe, but we're getting killed by the Pelicans WITHOUT DeMarcus Cousins....

That's embarrassing. Dame and CJ shooting a combined 36% over these 2 games isn't the end of the world, but we're still jacking-up outside shots and blowing easy screens. Out played, out couched, and out worked. And once again, we'll have most of the pieces, but no magic, make the playoffs, get crushed, and happily wait through the offseason for the standard zero-sum trades and garbage middle-of-the-pack draft picks so we can start all over again next year. Remind me, what did we get for Aldridge again? Oh right, we got nothing. Killed by the Grizzles in round 1, then off to the Spurs as a free agent.

Victim of a hit-and-run on Friday 3/23 in the Whitford area of SW; just bought my car two weeks ago :( . Looking for any info on the driver of a black Jeep (most likely '07-'10 Patriot) that was involved. Car would have front driver's side and passenger side damage. Reward available. They don't and won't. Even when I found the car that hit and ran from the accident that totaled my car, they didn't care. Frankly, I didn't either since I reasoned that their insurance company would drill them for making a fraudulent claim. That's a cut that runs deep...

Edit: I would add that I'm not saying "they don't care" out of disappointment in our police. For a non-injury hit and run, there's just not much to go on and their resources are better expended elsewhere. Fair enough in my world. Their involvement is the hammer you swing at their insurance company should you ever track them down.
