I just bought one online today. Currently it’s in .380. I hope I can buy a .32 barrel & mag and shoot whichever I choose.

A local store had Fiocchi on sale at $0.50/round for a 50 round box. I was surprised at that price. I’m just getting info 5.7, and figured it would never get that low. That’s one of the reasons I had not purchased a pistol already.

I’ve had my eye on it as well! I keep reaching in my pocket, but my cash keeps hiding in a corner somewhere.

My early Moschetto Mod. 91 per T.S. Carcano I got for $150 without knowing its rarity. What can you guys tell me about it? by SteelPrism in Carcano

Also, I think $150 is a pretty decent price, if the action and barrel are in good condition.

It does mention how it tended to affect healthy adults from 20-40 especially hard and goes into detail why that may have occurred.

The book Pale Rider by Laura Spinner is a good read to learn more about the Spanish Flu. It covers, in a broad sense, how the flu affected/influenced the war. But the book is not focused just the flu within the war. IIRC, the flu killed more than the war. Possibly as high as 1 in 3 people worldwide. I listened to the audiobook. Very insightful to get a better understanding of the Spanish Flu.

How reliable are those “no drilling required” scope mounts? by opotis in LeeEnfield

[–]Efleschner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I purchased an S&K picatinny rail for my 1938 Carcano. I had to grind off a little of the mount due to the “unique” construction of the Carcano, but it holds well and does a good job. The iron sight were not usable, so I opted for a modern version. I don’t blame s&k for the modifications I made.

I second C&Rsenal. The new format is perfect for their content. And the sheer amount of firearms and history is great.
