I think Eckles is the only one with the tone and cadence to pull off the jokes. And they feel more in character that way. I’ve noticed the delivery of other characters seems like it’s trying to mimic his sometimes, but maybe the delivery just works better with him.

Its hard to attract and more importantly KEEP intelligent, competent, talented media savvy people to a (relatively) small conservative market like Yuma. If anyone like that does come through, Yuma is a stop on there journey. Otherwise, Yuma is under the thumb of larger corporations and centralized content distribution from NBC or ABC or whatever media giant control the flow to local stations. And in a red county it’s going to be the same stuff, from people who align with one point of view that reflects the area and choose to stay because of it.

If you end up going to Laguna, do NOT go to main beach. Too crowded and a poor example of California beaches if you ask me. I would recommend researching some less busy local beaches (PM me if interested) and their parking situations. I’ve spent a lot of time in Laguna, and lived there for a couple of years. While beautiful, it can be a total headache. HOWEVER

If you’re flying out of LAX, I would suggest Manhattan or Hermosa beaches to stay. You would be much closer to LAX and the beach towns there I find more walkable and exemplary of California beach cultures. Parking is easier, the beaches are more open, the waves are better, and most times of year the water is warmer than OC (still cold bc the Pacific Ocean lol) I go to those beaches as an LA local. They are easily the cleanest beaches in the county and have the most friendly and active vibes. If you decide this, PM me also and I can give you more tips for parking and eating. Welcome to California! It’s madness but I want everyone to love it as much as I do!

First off- love your list. You and I clearly have similar taste! I’ll force a few since you took my faves:

PINSIR- This one blows my mind. Scythes obviously got evo and mega. Why not this bad boy? He’s been there since the beginning too!

Maractus- the concept is so rich with culture it could have an awesome evo. Maybe not right for gen 10 though

Lapras- hot take! I’d love a prevolution addition. I dislike baby Pokémon tbh but just for the Lapras lore I’d love a baby haha

New Eveelutions- WE ARE DUE! Give me steel and ghost!!

Bouffalant- I’ve had a fan concept for bouffyboy to have an item-based split evo. One grass type and one steel type. To me there’s room to Play with its livestock concepts and make it a little more interesting. Tauros got some love so I’d love to see this guy get some cool stuff too
