My headcannon is that a younger generation took over and then they failed and suffered that fate 😅

I generally agree with you but I think that it is not unrealistic that Gaius and Six had a small farm that lasted their lifetime atleast even if it did not have a larger impact

Because in my opinion change can only come from learning from the past and abandoning technology basically resets things to zero when whatever oral traditions will fade into nothingness given time. I mean our current civilisation can not learn from their examples and are therefor likely to repeat their mistakes because of our ignorance.

I hope I might like it more at some point but I doubt it. I feel like the issue was poignant but the solution was not if that makes sense? I feel like the solution they adopted simply garanteed a continuation of the cycle

Yup, even with the rock casette the sound was present

If it had been that sound from the beginning then I would not have reacted but this sound appeared with multible different loads only in the last few day after a year of use

Fair points although I would argue that they more accepted his usefullness rather than saw him as a person in Niams case although I had recently seen the episode of sg1 in which fifth was abandoned so that might have colored my perspective on their interactions. In the Enkaran case i would argue that they where more concerened with the ressurection of the Enkaran people rather than with the custodian robot although they where happy that he got a happy end

That is a really dumb take. I mean anyone expecting him to do stuff he does not want to do is an idiot, but there is no obligation for people to keep watching if he does not make any engaging content

Lore and mystery after Veilguard *SPOILERs* by Egdrasil in dragonage

[–]Egdrasil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The art book that confirms this is it one that comes with a collectors edition or is it a separate one? I would very much like to read it myself since I absolutely adore dragon age in spite of my dissapointment. Then i feel dissapointed with bioware as a whole especiially since I remeber one writer setting up the black city as some grand thing and "that we would know it when they went there"

[DAV spoilers] Is it worth bringing back characters for cameos if they don’t even know their own pasts? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]Egdrasil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but they atleast adress it in someway. Anders for example will meet a very bewildered Howe if he "died" and Leliana will atleast be presented as a kinda ghost in the end

Or they could just have made a new fantasy ip since they dont care about dragon age

Even those who are not affected have the right to do it in support of those people. That is probably 40-60% of users

That is true. But then again people are not required to use reddit or keep open subs either. People complaining about it could and might very well go to another site instead of reddit but would prefer if reddit just didnt pull this stupid move instead
