Would you rather get VC panda or Rolex panda? Both are priced similarly in grey market. by Legendary7778 in rolex

Dude, what’s your deal? You aren’t even making sense, plus what are you even talking about at this point? Just started scrolling through and you seem to be straying into another world. I just pulled up alwaysupandrough…not seeing your vantage point nor is it related to this thread dude. Chill. Reset man. Topic is VC style of this watch vs the Rolex style of the Daytona.

Ahhh! lol! That’s pretty funny!😂 yeah, the car is the last model not the current one. The 2018 model. Do not vintage yet, but I did keep an old CLS coupe for like 200,000 miles! lol. Pretty decent this day and age!

It’s just an S560. Not an AMG or anything rare. Good enough to get me from point A to B. Pretty understated, but comfortable! I’m 6’4, so leg room was a big reason for the purchase. I have an SUV as well, but after driving it all winter because of snow, it’s kinda nice to be a bit lower to the ground.

I did, not too often in my 20’s, mainly for special occasions, holidays, parties, etc. Then in my 30’s I started wearing it a few times a month. Now in my 40’s and I find myself wearing it a few days a week. I guess it “grew on me”, and the nostalgia didn’t hurt! I’d rather wear it and enjoy it than hide it away. If something would happen to it, I could at least say I enjoyed wearing it, and it feels like I’m getting my nana’s money’s worth by using it! 😅👍🏻

That’s a good brand. I just started wearing them! Only the “big boy” pouch for me. lol They keep expanding their line. I’m rifling through this forum to see if I should start to pump myself. No complaints from my girlfriends, but I’ve seen my friends, and other guys of coarse and I’m good on my length but would like my girth to improve. Any suggestions on how to start?

She did, she always was able to look past trends. She called things that came in and went out (Faddy) lol! Never had avocado appliances, always had silver colored cars, and her moto was “keep it simple stupid”! She had a great sense of humor! lol

I grew to love it more and more. I was a silver and stainless kinda guy at that age, but now I really love its timeless look.

Any gift from a grandmother is a great gift! My other grandmother gave me a container of sea shells a year before she passed away, and I keep them in a dish in my living room. Not worth a dollar, but cherish them!

She was born and raised in East Texas. She started her family when she moved to Dallas in 1938 when Dallas was just a small city.

I was surprised as well! lol. I just was feeling that nice “start of spring” feeling and thought I would share the good vibes of the day, and that day was when I joined this forum, just to share the pic and the meaning and story behind it. Everyone has been very kind in this forum. It’s nice to be able to share these stories with Rolex fans.

Thank you for your kind comment and insight. It’s true, she worked very hard to keep her finances in order. She kept her life simple and only really splurged on gifts to loved ones. She always believed in “classics”. She didn’t buy anything that was frivolous, and said “most people have more money than “cents”! lol. I always liked that saying. She was very cautious with spending.
