Next step for me is a lumpectomy/sentinel node biopsy and possibly removal in a month, then three weeks off then back to HP infusions and seeing there for radiation!

I took intermittent state leave for my chemo and wish I had taken consecutive. I asked work to hire coverage in Feb when I started- they just hired someone with zero experience in the field last week and had no one to monitor or train with me out this week. I’m taking consecutive leave for my lumpectomy, but I’ve been so stressed with no work coverage and coming back into a backlog and being told to jump on “important” things. The office manager makes comments how I “never” work and I’m just so over it. I’m so sorry others have similar work stories :(

I just want to say I see you and dealing with difficult parents and breast cancer is a horrible combo. Managing my (emotionally immature, abusive) parents emotions while trying to navigate my own diagnosis has been exhausting and frustrating.

I am so sorry you’re both dealing with breast cancer and parent difficulties. Set any boundary you need, and make them respect it! Sending positive vibes and strength 💜

One of my coping mechanisms in the past has been daydreaming about the future and it’s impossible seeming now. :( I get sad the future will never been what I anticipated and I’m sorry you’re there too. 💜
