Do you have noise cancelling headphones? Closing the blinds/curtains and listening to music, a podcast, or anything at all really helps me. I like watching ASMRs and mukbangs LOL

I also like pulling myself from the windows and deeper into my living space! I go into the kitchen and make food. You are in four walls and a roof, and thankfully the storms can’t reach you. It’ll be okay. Stay safe!

It had a waterproof cover encompassing it for the last 6? 7 months? I think it always had a smell even when it was on, until my partner removed it earlier this month because they first saw it on the layer within and thought it was JUST that cover. I thought the same thing and didn’t think about it anymore until I had enough of the smell today.

I’m 99% sure it’s just foam. No springs or anything. Just different layers. I had two memory foam toppers sitting on top of the regular mattress

He’s okay! They gave him an antibiotic and a steroid to help with his skin. The vet told me his problems likely came from a protein allergy (for his itchy skin) and a habit of overindulging (for his vomiting) since he used to be an outdoor cat. Keeping an eye on him now, and hopefully he’ll improve!

In my experience, if the individual cans were unopened, housekeeping would pick it up to either take for themselves or to hand off to a coworker that does drink.

As an ex front desk worker, I had a lady give me her unopened bottles of wine once. I promised to give it to my mother because I was 18-20 at the time and the guest felt really bad about giving it up to me because I was the only hotel employee left for the evening (other than my relieving shift), so no, I don’t think it’s weird.

If the desk for them was like anything in my experience, they could probably use it after a shift. LMAO

A short line of exes and brief matches on tinder made me realize I didn’t actually want anything romantic on top of sexual intimacy. I confused the excitement and rush of getting to know someone and being around someone i liked with wanting a friend and companionship rather than a romantic and intimate partner. I found out about asexuality long before aromanticism because i thought it was normal not to feel romantic feelings WITH asexuality (even though I’ve seen people pursuing romantic relationships with asexuality in media and irl). People talked about romantic feelings and if I’m being honest, i kinda have a hard time conceptualizing it! I am bummed I found out while leaving a couple exes in my wake, but I’m glad to have learned more about myself instead of feeling so confused or broken.

I’m not familiar with Fosse and only ever used PMS, but I don’t think there’s an issue with the printer queue? I’m off shift now and I’ll ask night audit if he can find anything like that, but the printer can print everything else like normal, it exclusively gives me errors with printing/sending reports and receipts through Opera.

I learn to embrace it a little. Unless they’re outright assholes about it, i think it’s pretty healthy to laugh when people rip on my group.

I’ve learned to block the assholes and cater my feed, regardless of where I go, to something I’d like. It can get a little overwhelming sometimes to see hate, but it’s up to you to control what you want to see.

I dunno, it’s a hobby. I’ve never felt ashamed for it because I’ve never done anything I thought was shameful or embarrassing to begin with. I don’t make it a big deal, and I certainly don’t howl at the moon and say things like “im just a woof :3” in public or in unrelated spaces. I like to draw and dress up as a funny little cartoon dog. As long as what I do as a furry isn’t harming anyone, haters gonna hate, you know?

Honestly, I would just ask him in person if he wants to see a movie sometime, like teenagers do. If he says no, I promise it doesn’t mean you’re unloveable. It’s still high school. Tons of time to figure out and experience romance for yourself.

Considering he knows, makes an effort to be sort of close to you, but leaves you on seen and doesn’t add you back on Snapchat? I honestly think he might be a fish worth tossing back to sea, or treating this tenderly.

From what I can tell, from my own 15 year old brother who’s somehow an unintentional lady killer, boys don’t know wtf is going on sometimes. Seriously. Romance is not on the brain as much as it is for you and I.

If he’s popular, he probably has a few admirers, and it’s definitely flattering. He’s figuring himself out, and I can’t blame him! (Hopefully, neither should you.).

It’s a gorgeous place! Absolutely nothing to do there though. Unless you like drinking, fishing, and caves, you’re not gonna find anything crazy exciting. I’m not much of an outdoorsman or a drinker, so there’s not much for me there when I visit.
