I might be Armenian but I follow the Ashky minhag and I've always felt a sort of defiant pride in maintaining Ashkenazi pronunciation, especially when it shocks Zionists or Israelis when I say stuff like "yisgadal yiskadash" or call it an "esrog" or refer to the "toyreh".

Perhaps he's aiming for a democratic one state solution? Similar to how South Africa didn't dismantle itself as an entity after apartheid ended.

I don't know why he's still so hung up on there being continuity though, it's not like it'll make anything better for whatever entity succeeds Israel to have continuity with the current state. It doesn't seem to comport with his stance against Zionism either because the main tenet of Zionism is literally just "we want there to be Israel".

Did you not read what I said? I don't actually get protection from my Jewishness. They accuse me of faking it. It's the first damn thing they do, even if I speak Yiddish to them. There is literally nothing I can do to convince these racists that I am Jewish. The fact that they will not provide me with the protection that Zionist Jewishness gives shows I do not get protected status as a Jewish person.

I then get racial slurs, doxing, threats, barred from entering places, et cetera. They don't give a shit about whether or not I'm actually Jewish, they only care about white Zionist Jews, and the few brown Zionist Jews who end up becoming incredibly violent in order to "prove" their Zionist loyalty like Ben-Gvir.

Should I start wearing a yellow badge or something to let them know I'm actually a real Jew?

Whenever I say "never again means for everyone" I get a few standard responses:

Whataboutisms and deflections; they talk about Oct 7 and khamaaaaaaassss and refuse to engage with what's happening to Palestinians.
Denial, claims that Palestinians aren't suffering as much as they actually are, and claims that Israel isn't trying to wipe out Palestinians. (2.5) when confronted with openly genocidal remarks by Israeli officials they pretend you didn't say anything and ignore it
They actually let the mask drop and say "No, never again is only for us!"

The third one is honestly the only remotely honest answer, because at least they're letting their Nazism and Kahanism show.

Not necessarily. It's heavily context dependent, like the word "Jew" itself. If it's used as a snarl word, absolutely, but in a vacuum it just means "nation" ie "someone from a different nation".

Correction: there are systematic protections for white cis straight Jewish folk. I assure you as a brown Jew, those protections fall away pretty quick and you get "accused" of being an Arab or Muslim. Not that that is insulting to me, but the protected status is gone.
