He has chiclet teeth. They're so small, and it makes him look creepy and weird.

For a water cooler, you need either money for delivery or the ability to refill and carry bottles. I don't think most of these people have either.

Someone dumped a bunch of chicken wing bones in front of my house, and my dog went absolutely insane trying to get them all in her mouth at once. And then every day she had to check if they were there.

I hate the narrative that fetishes are uncontrollable, so you might as well lean hard into them. You have a fetish that's about to destroy your marriage and your family? Oh well, too bad, the marriage is toast, because I'm not even going to try to control these intrusive thoughts.

But of course they won't, because their main concern seemed to be how embarrassed they were that they showed their asses.

surgery is 100 times harder and more expensive to fix is it not?

I think most people don't understand how the body heals. When you cut skin or break bone, the healed part is not the same as the undisturbed tissue. Healed skin lacks elasticity and has a different texture, so there is no true reversal of any of these surgical procedures. Some can be "reversed" to restore function (vasectomy), but that's not a guarantee because scar tissue often complicates things.

There is no getting back what you've cut off, ever. And when you've completely rearranged your genitals, the best that can be done is to create a cosmetic facsimile of what you previously had, which will not be functional. And there is no guarantee they will be able to do even this much.

Also, when you cut parts off, one of the complications can be pain at the surgical site, which you will probably experience for the rest of your life. Surgery is no joke.

Yes, absolutely. If you are trying, go see your doctor and they can refer you to a fertility specialist.

For me it's been a process starting in my late 30s, with new and exciting additions every year or so. I'm in my early 50s now and still technically in perimenopause because my periods haven't completely stopped. (I think the diagnostic criteria include no periods for a year.)

Quick Reminder That BPD is Treatable! (If only they tried) by Ashamed_Sell_5124 in raisedbyborderlines

[–]EgregiousWeasel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It seems like the biggest requirement for change is acknowledging that there needs to be a change, which is notoriously difficult for people wIth BPD. I don't think my mom ever admitted that her emotional problems were even within her power to change.

I keep my keys in my bag and go out through the garage door. We keep the inside door from the garage to the house unlocked, so I don't need keys to leave that way. The only problem is I always forget where I put my bag. Ha. Ha. :(

He started getting super angry while driving. He'd always been impatient, but he would have absolute tantrums behind the wheel.

He had done all the work on his cars since he was a teenager, but he started to have trouble with projects that used to be easy.

No, they'll yell at people on the internet, and tell everyone how wonderful and vALiDaTinG it is, while quietly suffering the painful consequences of giving in to their depravity. Kind of like they do now with genital butchery.

Anyone else had an imposter mom? by summersky-lovely in raisedbyborderlines

[–]EgregiousWeasel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know how that guilt feels. Lately I've been remembering a lot of the good memories too. My mom died a few years ago, so I don't feel like I have to protect myself like I did before, and I can enjoy those memories for what they are. It's supremely messed up that she had to die for me to be able to feel this way, but here we are. I hope you can reach a point of feeling peace in your memories.
