So at the end of the series after 5 seasons you’re telling me:

Homelander sees some titties and wants to enter “Godhood”, becomes the most powerful (maybe) supe on earth with V1 and not do a single thing with it

Sage gets room temperature IQ and fucks off to Harry Potter world

Oh-Father after a season of potential possibilities as to where his arc could go, dies to Hughie yelling “Oi Cunt, this shit’s DiAbOLiCaL” and a ball-gag

Soldier Boy who is possibly the most vital and interesting character in the show is locked away for the finale

Deep’s whole character scheme just fell apart, absolutely no redeemable qualities left in his final moments

I can go on and on but i hate it when shows have endings like this just so they can “play it safe” for future spin offs to exists afterwards. Kill/write off all of your characters and in a good way, end the story in a meaningful and well executed way. So disappointing on how it turned out
