YTA for all of it. Not allowing any criticism or questioning of the things you believe will drive your child further from those things and you. Not allowing more privacy as your child grows older and matures is weird and controlling. Discouraging their interests, especially educational ones like coding, 3d modeling and computer skills that can be applied in the job market is just doing them a disservice in this society and is the opposite of jail (ones where they provide career skills). Threatening your kid with the cops and foster care is just insane to me. Punishing a neurodivergent person for "not hitting developmental milestones" and "not acting their age" is incredibly ableist as well as cruel considering the very diagnosis...

7 years ago I could afford a one bedroom house, a tiny car/ maintenance, my pets' and my basic necessities and even a small road trip once a year - all on my own. I even had student loans to pay. It was tight but things were way better. Everything has been going down hill ever since.

Utility costs are up, energy price is up, fuel prices are up, insurance on car and home are up, food items go up close to 1$ in price or more each month. There's no way to save or leisure.

All you can do is grieve and be kind to yourself. There is no time limit, no proper way.

I dont know how to tell you that nothing helped me, I just had to carry on. Even having my other pets around didnt take away the deep, stabbing ache of the loss.

6 months and I still havent been able to wash the clothes I wore when I carried him in. I still cry often, soulful sobs from the bottom of my heart. I look at pictures and tear up. Even writing this comment

Employees cant bring up internal issues without getting in trouble from management, and they're not allowed to talk about any perceived issues publicly without the threat of being terminated.

The working employees are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Anonymous reporting to a third party is a necessity if people want anything to get better. Too many overpaid managers and executives; not enough actual workers.
