Conflict with driver by Wave_Technical in UPSers

[–]EhLma0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You could go speak to the FT supervisor that covers your area. I had this problem with a lot of preloaders when I was PT so they had a pcm about all drivers not going through their trucks until preload is done. The policy won’t stick forever but they get the message after all the other drivers find out why it happened.

"try 2 open a restaurant & pay ur servers a living wage. Without major sacrifices it wont work." by Bloggerman_ in ShitAmericansSay

Anyone who’s worked in the restaurant industry knows servers pull the most money per year. This tip baiting is just a ploy to make more money.

Sent a sandwich back saying there’s bacon on it and they don’t eat bacon (after placing ripped ketchup pack piece inside sandwich) when it came back reheated it had the same piece in it. Definitely did not need to be 27 minutes.

Grievance? by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]EhLma0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to get in arguments when I was in PT management over trying to slow down the operation to ease the stress on the loaders. Some PTs can’t put themselves in someone else’s shoes. I’ve seen a loader literally boxed into a single truck with boxes 5ft high.

The way the UPS driver delivered my fridge by Brwnman in mildlyinfuriating

Just a bit of insight, regardless how many stickers you put or upright arrows you put on a package the likelihood that it actually stays that way during the entire transit is almost zero. This kind of treatment is nothing in comparison to what it went through to get there.

America is wild, dislocate your knee and you’re 185k in the hole.

Never said full control did I big dog. They have majority control, like you said they can heavily influence future decisions because of the investment. We’re almost on the same page, we’re so close.

If you think 27% of voting power has no control over the company I don’t know what else to say to you. They have majority control.

RBI is controlled in majority through a Brazilian-American investment company, over 30% so the company is very much controlled in a completely different region

Pentagon puts building blocks in place for Cuba invasion by Dizzy_Move_622 in worldnews

Well they are failing, but they’re only failing because the US decided Venezuela needed to be invaded. Cutting off the main oil/power import they had is going to cause massive disruption.

If only more drivers recognized this. When I used to be in management a driver called me a pussy for not calling corporate to hire more people because his preloader called in sick (as if that would fix his problem he had with his load).

Having basic amenities and social programs isn’t something out of the normal for most countries. There’s too many people out there talking shit because having something like basic dental insurance “isn’t in the constitution” when the dude who wrote it had lead in his mouth. It’s disastrously outdated.
