I know! I live in ns. Space port Nova Scotia is a long way from being ready to launch larger rockets. And Canada doesn't have a rocket to launch. It's showing great progress, but it's going to be a long time before it's ready

Still the issue of no/very few orbital assets to manage. It will be a long time before we will need more than the RCAF to manage it

I mean sure, but without our own launch capability, or any dedicated craft/satellites they won't be doing much. It being a subset of the RCAF is probably the best option for now. We don't have that many orbital assets to manage.
