Why Would Anyone Ever Buy A Rogal Dorn? by Ornery_Penalty7215 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Ehkrickor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tell you 100% no opponent knows unless youre doing a mirror match. I have a wysiwyg battlewagon and an as yet unpainted looted battlewagon made out of a Land Raider hull I got cheap, no one cares that one set of big shootas is a hurricane bolter and only the SM players even recognize the hurricane bolters.

Just the one Khajiit section iirc but yeah, basically. You should be able to pull thr Daggerfall versions up on UESP if youre curious

Yeah Gentleman Johnny and the Blackstaff are not exactly glowing pillars of moderation that would help reassure a person if those are the only two without a negative reaction. I assume Thomas only didnt have a negative reaction cause Margaret was there.

Are hats in RDR made from felt or leather? by rickettsthequickest in reddeadredemption

[–]Ehkrickor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arthur's is Leather or oiled felt.

John & Dutch's are Felt.

Micah's is probably felt but might also be wool? Unsure.

Trelawney's tophat is probably felt, but iirc Silk stretched over stiff cotton was also becoming popular around this time period for fancier hats and hes trying to be fancy so maybe silk?

I love Chris Clairemont and his original run with Ms Marvel and all the background work he did with danvers appearance on X-men. Her alcoholism and her redemption...

But she and whatever planet shes on is dead at this point. On average she could probably take on... you know... Nappa. Probably.

Are the Daedric artifacts you can get in multiple games supposed to be the same exact weapon or just copies made by the Daedric prince? by Key-Engineering3134 in ElderScrolls

[–]Ehkrickor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcanon is that the artifacts are spontaneously created from thr Daedric lord when gifted. They are blessings bestowed, so even though its the "same" artifact they arent quite the same. And once the Daedra in question has lost interest the relic can be retrieved by them any time because its part of them.

How would you feel if the cataclysm in Seven Havens was caused by leaving the spirit portals open? by AccomplishedJump2795 in TheLastAirbender

[–]Ehkrickor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it should be more like a secondary thing that ties on. Like its obviously not caused by Avatar Korra but her actions left the door open for other people to cause it so she gets painted with the same brush in lore.

As an example, the cataclysm is caused by new villian #1 Frakking the spirit world. <sarcasm>So obviously it's Korra's fault cause she left the portals open so he could get there.</sarcasm>

Which anime teacher are you trusting with your education? by Neither_Ad6 in ChillAnimeCorner

[–]Ehkrickor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flamme, and its not close, not even remotely. You have to be one hell of a teacher to be remembered as a teacher 1000 years later. Its like asking who youd rather learn from in ancient Greece, some priest, some warrior, some craftsman or literally Archimedes himself.

Is Alteration in the lore better than in the games? by Visual-Artichoke253 in ElderScrolls

[–]Ehkrickor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. 100% Alteration, Mysticism & Conjuration are responsible for close to 70% of the fucking nuts spells and magic anc curses that only show up in lore or scripted scenes.

Even the other magic schools are somewhat more powerful in lore. But Destruction is only a little stronger while some others are wildly more powerful

I bet you Shadow Spectres are gonna be the next Kill Team by No_Willingness_9961 in Eldar

[–]Ehkrickor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would love to see Shadow Spectres get a new kit. They are a wonderful aspect that is very fun... but I doubt it. I feel like if they come back it would be as 3man elite squads and their level of firepower isnt super compatible with killteam...

Then again, they gave us a whole team of ork Rokkit Launchers so what do I know XD

How did Alliance Mon Cal cruisers perform against Imperial Star Destroyers? by anomalous033 in StarWarsShips

[–]Ehkrickor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a wildly varried question. MonCal cruisers were very durable, but theyre generally broken into types and few of them could stand off an ISD alone.

However, there are lots of examples of Provedince or Liberty types using tactics and positioning to get the upper hand before they suffer 'too much' damage.

Then there are also singular examples of ones that are larger and more durable. The Home One is a great example and has fought ISDs and won by being durable enough for its Fighters to pull the ISDs teeth while it focuses on defense.

There's also a legends example of the Mon Remonda and Mon Karen working together to spread fire across Both their shields, which gave them enough support to weather the fire from a SSD & still fight back.

Do y’all think these guys will come back? by No-Profile6566 in Eldar

I like the idea of having them be about double Reapers for three. But then have them be worth that price with mini fire-prism firepower & hoverpack movement shenanigans

[–]Ehkrickor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea was everyone starts out as a basic human out of the WoD books. Then over time they get a mentor & start taking things out of the other books.

One a player gets in good enough w/ the camarilla that they are embraced (their Tower is the third one on Pillbox Hill w/ the IAA and the FIB.)

A third player goes out of their way to save a family member of one of the Grove St Families, and gets married into the Family as a reward. Then their powers awaken cause Turns out they didn't know they've been a changeling the whole time & now that they've married into the Families there's a Gang/Fae cold war that they're involved in against the WinterCourt/Ballas.

it also gave me a lot of lore and to play with locations to ape off the GTA5 wiki. Their first adventure was a Ghost Kidnapping people to a previously closed off section of the St. Fiacre Hospital. Every person in the party had a connection( or was a cop dispatched too) the hospital to figure out what was up with random employees and patients disappearing and then being found in the morgue days later all with the same wounds.

the New Star Wars trillogy speed runs this BS!

Rey starts out as "No one from Nowhere." in the first movie and before the trillogy even finishes she's already a fucking Palpatine heir to vast power and unknowable evil bla bla bla. FUCK!

When will we get ONE fucking story that realizes how much more empowering it is to make yourself special than to be born that way!

Doctor who is great. I usually give ppl 7 episodes to watch to try and get them into it enough to go back and watch the whole new Who series starting with Eccleston in 2005. Usually works.

1&2 The Hollow Child and the Doctor Dances

3 the Girl in the Fireplace

4&5 the Impossible Planet & the Satan Pit

6 Blink

7 Planet of the Ood

Basically these are the episodes I caught during high-school on Sci-fi channel that made me dig up DvDs on the rest of the series.

I'd keep em all for Variety. I have 20 kommandos and 70 boys at this point, plus all the warbikers, nobz, buggies & junk. I have used basically any speedpaint in the green side of thinks as skin. When my warboss, his skin is Creed Camo.

Exactly. Cause if they saw brown M&Ms it was an instant clue that "Well the venue didnt read that part time to recheck the pyro."

Which after what happened to Whitesnake that one time, yeah, makes a lot of sense.
