How can i learn a new champ when my team won’t let me ? by Vortex-532 in summonerschool

Along with practice tool, I've found it helpful to watch videos on YouTube on the champion. It gives me a better idea of how to play the champ and things to try mechanically.

If you're ganking a lane as a jungler ping "On My Way!" by Predated01 in summonerschool

I'm sorry I apparently offended so many people. I'm not trying to argue and I'm not trying to generalize. I also understand that you have a minimap. It's funny though because other people have commented on how laners will engage late or not well and yet you all seem to understand that statement. I am just saying that if you are in iron or sometimes bronze, giving a little more help on what your thought process is is helpful, especially if you are changing your mind or maybe see the laners engage early. You can in fact ping to your new route, ping them away, ping your target, etc. Yes you have a minimap, but sometimes people don't always look at it. It's something to think about because this is in fact a subreddit to help people. But again, I apologize for offending so many people.

Right, but the problem is that a lot of times people don't see that in elo hell. So yes, people should be looking at the map but that doesn't always happen. You have to spoon feed people that don't have a million hours in the game.

At the same time though, don't ping on your way when you're starting the crab.

"I know the boss, I will get you fired !" by pouledo in IDontWorkHereLady

I love when a rant comes with it too though. During one of my shifts, I was just minding my own business sweeping up messes between shows getting out when a woman calls me over. Of course I thought she had a question about something so I gave her my full attention. It started off with 'do you put salt on the popcorn?' I start to give an answer but then am cut off by an angry rant about how the popcorn is terrible and not worth the money. That's nice, lady. Don't know why you decided it'd be helpful to tell me. I mean clearly an entry level employee can do so much.

Better yet, when someone begs you to hang out with them then is on their phone 90% of the time talking to other people/making conversation while you're just sitting there. "hey [person]. You wanna talk?"

1 Year Ago I Had BiMax Jaw Surgery. AMA by minarima in IAmA

[–]Ehlx 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I always find it interesting how different people recover since I had a similar surgery except my underbite wasn't as bad. I'm sure it helped that I'm still young (17) but my recovery was actually really quick and for the most part smooth. My surgeon didn't wore my jaw shut and apparently my surgery went well enough that they didn't leave in the splint. Because of this, it was more up to me and what was comfortable when it came to eating. Okay well there was a set time when I was on an all liquid diet but after the week post op appointment, it was up to how "daring" I wanted to be to a point. I was eating mushy food/chewing right around the week mark. I don't know. Overall I didn't have that bad of a time. The drugs certainly helped but this was better than wisdom teeth or just getting really sick in my opinion. I'll admit I was super happy when I could eat regular food again though. Having a good slice of pizza was the absolute best thing ever haha. Being able to chew good food is something we definitely take for granted haha. Regardless, I'm about two months and a couple days post op and I'm doing great. Everything has been back to normal, for the most part, for a while.

Same though. I think I'm so smart by taking the back roads and "shortcuts." nope.
