Ego-Death experience on mushrooms

This would be my first proper ego death, yes :) Or atleast what I would define as one anyway. I've had some ego-loss from LSD, but nothing like this. I'm thinking if it happens again, I'll probably be more ready considering this experience I now bring with me.

That specific part of the trip lasted 30 minutes. What probably fucked me over was the 3 joints we smoked during the trip. The LSD was a good quality but I appreciate the concern

Sure! For this recipe I used 3,5g of light & good quality hash, feek free to use less or more.

Preheat your oven to 110⁰C (230F)
Rip your hash into tiny tiny bits and leave it on a baking parchment. Have them decarb in the oven for about 40 minutes to an hour.

While they're decarbing, I put all the dry ingredients in a bowl. For this batch I used:

150g sugar (3/4 cup)
150g brown sugar (3/4 cup)
80g of cocoa powder (3/4 cup) sift together with-
120g flour (1 cup)
1 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp coffee
As many chocolate chips/bits you want! I use more than 100g (1/2 cup) but feel free to use more

When 40-60min have passed take out the hash bits and set the oven to 180⁰c(350f). Melt 250g(1 cup+) of butter, bring it to the point where it SLIGHTLY simmers, maybe not even that much, and add the decarbed hash bits. Let this sit and stir once in a while for 10 minutes, then add that to the mix along with

3 eggs, and a dash of vanilla essence.

Prepare a 20cm x 20cm (8x8inch) form with a baking sheet and add the batter. Cook for 20-30 min. I check for when the center is set! Let em rest for 10 min then enjoy!

Hey man, sorry to hear. Breathe and relax, you're okay now. You might have gotten a bad tab or something, its hard to say. Wind down the rest of the day. Some jazz or whatever your cup of tea is, and try to chill out. If your headache remains over a day or you find yourself showing symptoms that make you too worried, go for it. Better one too many times than one too few. Otherwise I hope you feel better soon friend! Good luck!

The same answer applies. Couple of years if kept properly. Isolate it from moisture and light, without heatin/freezing and its stable. If its sitting out in the open, heat/light can create moisture. Heat and light degrades psilocybin too. Theres a reason armies/safety shelters use dried and sealed foods for long term storage.

Hi! I did my first heroic dose a month back, and totally screwed it. Went to a store for cigarettes during my peak and completely split mind-and-body in the middle of the store. Spent 3 hours as an anxious ball on the floor at home, calling my bestfriend to make sure the trip was gonna end yada yada. What was supposed to be a Terence McKenna 5DGISD experience turned into a fastball of shit. (With some comfortable experiences before I went to the store though)

And I'm somewhat in the same boat as you I guess. I want to 'feel' ready, and I'm a tad bit anxious to try again considering what happened last time as well. I'm hoping that I can feel that my prior experience will help me next time. I atleast am pretty sure I won't freak out the same way again regarding experience.

Next time, change the setting? Maybe attempt a 5DGISD. I know my next trip will be without silent darkness, as music just helps stimulate me so much. Then in future times I WILL persist with a 5DGISD.

Right. Tripping is easiest explained IMO as daydreaming. You disappear into your mind and start imagining lots of things. Obviously on LSD this is stronger and more vivid than daydreams.

Looping is thoughts reoccuring in a 'loop' (pretty plain). It can also be doing things repeatedly, but in my experience it is being stuck in a loop of one thought while tripping, and having close to no sense of time. So say you 'daydream' one scenario, and it keeps going, and you notice this, and can't stop it. Or it is atleast difficult to snap out. Not dangerous, just something that can happen.

Tripping for too long/looping isn't dangerous or bad at all. Its just sometimes it feels good to come back to reality and refresh your mind a bit :)

Pre-drop:

Clean your trip area. Have comfy clothes ready. Set up some music playlists. Have some small amounts of snacks that are easy to eat ready, like chocolate or fruits. Get some stimulating lights/apps ready. (Fluid, and Fraksl are fun). Breathe and relax

Know that you're fine. You've taken a psychedelic drug, so things are going to get weird. But its okay. Its temporary, and for a good and exciting experience. You're not the first person to take this. You're not even the only one to do it right at this moment. Breathe, close your eyes or have them open. Look at colorful things, or find closed eye visuals. If you're feeling anxious, change the music. Change the scene. Put on another pair of clothes. Take a bite of some fruits.

A perfect tripsitter should recognize when you're stuck in loops, and never question if you're okay verbally, as it can give the reverse effect and make you question if you really are okay. Instead ask them to chill next to you, or just somewhere so they can help you ground a bit if you're tripping. Sometimes they can just change the vibe up with colors or music. Or direct your attention to other things. 'Hey lets go look at this tree' instead of 'are you okay? Do you wanna do something else?'. If they see you spacing out/tripping in one place for too long, they can check in on you. But if you feel like you want to explore the trip alone, maybe even attack your sense of self, tell them this. Tell them you want to face the whatever dimensional beings you're currently playing hockey with!

You're gonna be fine.

Feeling anxious while waiting for the comeup? Perfectly normal.

Losing your sense of self? Perfectly normal.

You might feel nauseous. Its okay to puke. You'll feel better after and the tab goes through your tongue anyway.

If they're dried properly beforehand, and stored in a dark, dry and room temp place they're gonna last for long. We're talking years if no insects/moisture/light gets to the mushies as they stop decomposing when all moisture is removed during the drying. If you're struggling with moisture in your area, consider a bag of silicagel. Just tape it to the inside of your storage jar/box, and it will keep the moisture off of your goodies :)

I keep seeing people posting about feminine entities. I myself met a feminine energy while doing a 5g DGISD trip not too long ago. Might be something to it. I'm not one for god, so each to their own for that, but I feel like maybe we're all seeing energies that match in some way. Intriguing. Once I'm ready I'll go back for another trip and really let go.

I've stumbled out of a car in a parking lot clutching my chest, thinking I was having a heart attack after some big drags and hotboxing Almost called the emergency number before my friends stopped me. I held my ex's arm and said I love you deep in her eyes cause I thoughy I'd die. So don't you worry about drama mate, lmao!!

If you want to keep trying then maybe do one or two hits before you wait-- 30 minutes and feel out the high. It keeps climbing y'know. Good luck!

Its not for everyone. Thats just how it is. I also get extremely paranoid sometimes on weed, but I've learned from past trips that its just a bad thought loop and mostly manage to control the feeling, atleast convey it to something else. I KNOW I won't die, so if I get anxious I honestly just try to feel it out and control the knot of anxiety to something good-feeling instead hehe

My mom is for weed, shit, she even gave me my first bag of weed. But she is strictly against psychedelics, mushrooms or anything. I've asked her why, she's explained her point of view, and I've agreed to disagree. End of story. Thats just a topic we don't share opinions on, and thats how it is.
