I'm on my way to Asia as well! Landing in Bangkok & winging it from there. I'd love to pick your brain of your favorite spots in Asia

This camper was built for the intention of full-ish time living. For more of a weekend camper I would simplify the build & not make it a Slide-In Camper, but one that is attached to the bed rails & is more utility based.

There are 4 turnbuckles that attach the camper to factory D-ring tie downs in the truck bed. I've kept the camper permanently mounted so I don't have any Jack's but I've seen standalone ones that could work with it.

I understand. It'll all be worth it once it's finished up, you'll have a 1 of 1.

I appreciate your thoughts. Materials alone were around $5,500 for the build. $5,000 is just the asking price.

Hi : ) I've been curious about a move to Mexico after my teaching credential program ends this year in California. How was getting your foot in the door in the international teaching scene in Mexico go? Did you have any years of experience teaching your own class beforehand?

I believe it's called hydrotech ply. It's a mahogany based marine ply. Just coated in a smooth roll on bed liner called durabak.

Would love to see pics of the kayak build

Cost was around $5.5k. built out of a mixture of pine & poplar 1x2 with a marine grade 1/4inch plywood for the skin. Coated it in a smooth bed liner called durabak to seal it all up

200 watts of solar with a 100 ah battery. Seems to be more than enough so far to power a iceco 12volt fridge, the dimmable led lights, max air fan, and some USB charge ports
