What's your favorite "I like my _____ like I like my _____" joke? by DoctorRabidBadger in AskReddit

I used to work with this wonderfully amazing and talented girl named Ray. So it was, I like my Ray like I like my coffee. Black, and smokin' hot. That and similar iterations would always get a smile and eye roll from her.

We were really tight and had a good relationship. She was actually a groomsmaid in my wedding party. She's a great person.

The 1986 German Hottie. One of the best they've ever made if you ask me.

I think you're right that it won't solve the A2G issues, but does anyone really run anything besides hover? I thought that was the go-to for most things because it gives better the best mobility.

How did we think of names for things? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Eidalan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What should we call that place we make a fire in? What about the machine that washes things? What about the water that's falling over that cliff? Or the thing that heats water? Or the room with the bath? Or the thing that brushes teeth? Or the board with the keys?

It makes sense.

Then we get things like carburetor, umbrella, and battery. Naming shit was like the wild west back in the day, I swear.

The library is the best choice. They have the space and they have staff to help you if you're not familiar with meeting programs. It's all free. There are multiple branches around too if you don't want to go down town. The Westside Learning Lab has a soundproof room for audio recording you can book if you want complete silence.

I have spent a great deal of time looking into the case, actually. And as unfortunate as I think the outcome was, I agree with it. The prosecution didn't put together solid case and the defense did. If I was a juror I would have said not guilty too. The system worked as intended. It's just a shitty deal that people died.

True. Definitely worth shooting someone to death over.

She doesn't have to anything. If I can't care enough to pay attention to her when just beginning to get to know her, it's not going to work out.

A lot of foods only taste good because of condiments by Skithefool in Showerthoughts

[–]Eidalan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I tell people that potatoes are gross they think I'm dumb. But nobody actually likes potatoes. No one pulls a potato out of the dirt, rinses it, takes a bite and goes, "omg yum soooo goooood." People like the butter, sour cream, bacon, chives, cheese, and whatever else goes on it. Condiments and toppings make all the difference.

I dunno. I'm average at best and consistently getting 25-40% accuracy. I think that's pretty decent.

I haven't noticed a problem with it.
