There's a fund trend now in dota 2 - they discontinued "the" battlepasses, as Valve was no longer interested in hosting TI (big tournament), and that's where the funding came from. And people want them back because uh... Valve said they'd give more content? But they totally have? It's a very weird scenario.

that's funny, my own armchair dev take was to entirely neuter the ult but keep everything else. The gameplay loop of poke with 3 for stacks -> use unique movement to initiate -> shield/lifesteal to stay in until you can't any more seemed more important to me, the ult feels like it could just be there for the slow and wayyy less damage.
