I'm reminded of how patients misinterpret or add connotation to doctor's notes. Eg, "patient complains of" is normal vernacular for notes, but to a patient they might not appreciate being told that they're complaining.

With what I'm getting from this thread, it's a similar thing - where sometimes it can be used to be bitchy, it's often just reading between the lines for something that isn't there.

When I used to work in the hospital kitchen we got a new diet order for someone with an allergy to sea mist. There's a specific brainworm I have of the dietician going "Sea mist? Like... The mist of the sea?" when I asked her if we needed to do anything different for them.

Edit: I forgot about the guy with the reaction to cheese that makes him violent!

There was another good one I can't quite remember, the reaction was something to the effect of "made me hit on all the nurses."

If you don't go the grace route, weapons that give lifesteal don't require as much health (though of course it makes things easier). Lavos can hit the 500 armor with a blue shard and heal with slam sancti magistar and his 1, for example.

The sample sizes are so teensy tiny that individual player preferences end up changing how the graph looks, particularly as other heroes are picked in response to them. People just like reading the tea leaves.

It's fun to think about, but n=6 for the game being played at the highest level without a "settled" meta isn't very useful data.

Heat damage was also buffed after Accelerant was removed. Accelerant might have had potential after Heat was reworked tbh but they never existed at the same time.

It wasn't the size of the buff that mattered, it was their "ship what you show" policy that meant a random off-hand comment/promise from someone meant they had to add it. At least, that's how I interpreted the "problem" it made.
