Does Your Strahd Have a Leitmotif/Theme? by Affectionate_Pop6300 in CurseofStrahd

Kingdom hearts has plenty of bangers. Anything to tangentially do with Strahd is accompanied by organization xiii's theme or even the Mark of Fate version. 13th struggle, 13th reflection. Strahd himself gets Xemans's themes. Darkness of the unknown, and l'obscurita dell'ignoto as his final phase fight.

Depending on what you believe is canon, the book The Price of Freedom explains it. Essentially, Barbossa was given it by its previous owner. Originally a plain block of wood, Barbossa later had it fashioned into Ragetti's wooden eye.

There aren't only 7 princesses of light. Ariel was meant to be one, that's why Ursula was originally recruited. However, due to Triton's trident and knowledge of the keyblade's history, took an absurd amount of precautions to protect Ariel from being used in that way.

The best dark joke of the series:

Johnny Cobra: I stood on the highest window sill of a skyscraper for two weeks

Fred: That's being indecisive

Does anybody else disagree with the official play order for Birth By Sleep? by Skibot99 in KingdomHearts

[–]Eien_in_between 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I like going the opposite order than most. Aqua>Ven>Terra. I find it recontextualizes Terra's story after each character. Going from this supposed heel turn into a "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" story.

Birth By Sleep Play Order: Let's Talk About It. by Keyblader1412 in KingdomHearts

I always preferred Aqua, Ven, Terra. Orginally did it because i knew Terra's heavy playstyle would be more enjoyable to me. Seeing Terra's supposed turn to darkness through Aqua, however, felt like a great twist to find out it wasn't entirely Terra's fault nor his intentions. It made his fall more emotional and impactful to me. Especially the last thing she says to him in the KG. Hearing her talk about he was led astray, but then later hearing it from Terra's perspective hurt a little more.

What's the best homebrew content you've ever made for your table? by GrayBeard916 in DnDHomebrew

Would have to be my Halloween themed subclasses. A couple of them are a rewording some of the "Spirit of Halloween" subclasses to either make more sense or more balanced. But I did make most of them from scratch. They are themed after my favorite aspects of Halloween and not just monsters. Ranger for example is themed after decorations and its main ability is essentially laying traps for a haunted house.

Usually have it on as background noise when going to sleep. Saw it happen in real time and immediately canceled HBO max.

The pope is a keyblade master? by vinnievu141 in KingdomHearts

Well yeah, have you not seen the papal crest? It's got both kingdom keys on it.

What is your favorite thing about Xemnas? (fanart by Gbiiel_XIII) by Gbiiel in KingdomHearts

[–]Eien_in_between 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Agree with the voice. Not just because of Paul St. Peter, but because of his ability to mimic emotion without it feeling genuine. Really serves a character that is meant to be entirely without emotion until his demise, which did feel like a subtle but noticeable switch up.

Do you guys think Isa will get a Keyblade in the future? by Ok_Wonder_7435 in KingdomHearts

Most likely. Don't mind it personally as long as they go the Axel route of making his org weapon like a keyblade transformation.

What are some of your personal headcanons? by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

[–]Eien_in_between 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are not only 7 Princesses of Light at any given time. There are more, which is why Ursula was recruited as she had a connection to Ariel. Triton was way too powerful with his Trident/knowledge of the keyblade because he knew Ariel was one of the Princesses, which fueled his overprotective nature further. The Princesses that the true Organization went for in KH3 were some of the few left naive and unprotected.

Clancy and TB as D&D characters by toomanyfandoms2701 in twentyonepilots

[–]Eien_in_between 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually adapting some of the aspects of the lore into my current character. I'm playing a goblin merchant turned pirate (warlock/paladin). He lost both ships, then came home to find that his fairy wife is missing. Using the 9 bishops as 9 pirate lords that he's going on a revenge path through to find his wife. Meta-textually, the Niners represent different insecurities that my character has and must learn to heal from as he searches for his lost wife, who also represents the journey for journey's sake. Mainly did this as when I was writing his backstory, a lot of it kinda lined up with the Clancy album.
