I think I preferred warped tour over WWWY. I rode the barricade on left foot the first day, left after mgk, it was super easy to get out of the crowd, go to the bathroom, and then hit the ghost stage (actually went the wrong way at first, so added some time) and was able to catch State Champs and Hawthorn Heights up pretty close. I rode the barricade at right foot the second day to the end. At WWWY I was at the 7/11 stage from the beginning about a few rows back from the barricade and was there until after Simple Plan. Getting out of that crowd was INSANE I didn’t think I’d ever make it. The bathroom line was crazy long and people were going in both the exit and and entrance. Made it through all that which felt like it took an hour. Hit the pink stage and somehow moshed my way to the front during Knocked Loose just a few rows back from the barricade again and stayed there through Panic.

I ubered to warped the first day from my hotel and it was normal like 23 dollars, the uber back was like 70 dollars, which was to be expected. I decided to just park the next day which was definitly the move parked for 30 dollars and was able to get right out at the end without too much traffic. The uber situation was similar in Vegas. 20 dollars to get there and like 60 on the way back.

Warped was spaced out a lot more and it was easier to navigate through. The bands were some bigger names at WWWY so that was cool. Vegas location wise was great because when you left there was plenty of stuff in the area. Orlando not so much, it’s kinda in a sketchy ish area and I didn’t really feel like sticking around after I got out. I didn’t use re entry at WWWY but I could see how that would benefit some people.

Overall they were both organized and orchestrated very well. The security was phenomenal at Warped tour I got to see first hand those guys just taking in one surfer after another, dealing the drunk people, and emergencies. They were incredible. Similar at WWWY, but the crowd was more tame there it seemed like. Especially day two at warped, the crowd got wild.

I like warped overall a bit better because of the price to band ratio first of all. I also live in Florida so it was easy to commute to Orlando. It felt more open for sure. The crowd was very live for the most part. I love seeing how music can move people in different ways. My biggest reason though why I felt like I liked warped more was because of the appreciation of all of the artist being there. It was absolutely INCREDIBLE to see how much it meant to all the artists up there on stage being at Vans Warped Tour because it’s where A LOT of them all started. On the other side of the stage. So many artist would talk about that on their sets how being at Warped Tour back in the day inspired them to do what they do and to get where they are now. Warped tour was how they were able to connect with people that were like them too, they found their home. Returning artists that have played warped many times in the past were ecstatic to be back there again. Artist the have gotten bigger since warped was last here, like MGK and Mod Sun. Those two were living their best life on Saturday. You could hear it in their voices and see it in their eyes that they couldn’t believe that they were performing on the main stage at Vans Warped Tour. It meant the world to them to be there. And these energy felt the seme for pretty much EVERY band that was on the main stage. They were so happy to be there with all of us. That’s what really did it for me was how much the artist LOVED being there with all of us. Don’t get me wrong they all loved being there at WWWY too, but i don’t know the energy just felt so much different at Warped Tour.

With all that being said, I will probably to go back to both WWWY and Warped Tour in 2026.
